Karl Popper – George Soros’s mentor – viewed anybody who is not a liberal as an enemy of the open society. It is increasingly clear that today’s liberalism is becoming totalitarian. Through de-platforming and “cancelling culture” globalists censor alternative thinkers. Anyone who is not a liberal is viewed by contemporary liberalism as an enemy of the open society who must be killed and destroyed. Liberal totalitarianism, similarly to other totalitarian regimes, is based on a culture of destruction of the enemy. In liberal totalitarianism non-liberals are labelled “ fascists”, “Stalinists”, “terrorists”, “extremists” and are considered enemies that should be exterminated and destroyed.
Conspiracy theory. The message in this video is consistent with a recurring pro-Kremlin narrative that seeks to discredit liberal democracies by claiming that liberal societies are totalitarian systems ruled by “globalist elites” and “shadow governments”. This narrative portrays the liberal societies of the West as ideological dictatorships that have imposed a dominant “liberal globalist “ ideology and claims that “the elites” and mainstream media in these societies persecute anyone who expresses views that dissent from dominant “politically correct” liberal-globalist thinking. This video suggests that in Western liberal societies, dissidents are not only silenced and persecuted but are physically exterminated. Furthermore, this narrative misinterprets the concept of "the Paradox of Tolerance" of Karl Popper. With this idea, Popper wanted to express that it seems a contradiction that a tolerant society is intolerant against intolerance. But according to Popper it is not. This does not means he defends liberalism as a political movement, but the right to suppress intolerance if necessary. Equating the West’s liberal societies to totalitarian regimes based on terror and repression of dissent - such as Nazism and Communism - is an obvious falsification of reality. Liberalism is a political doctrine based on liberty, consent of the governed, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), and equality before the law. Liberal societies do not suppress alternative points of view but are based on pluralism, a political philosophy which recognises and affirms diversity within a political body, and which permits the peaceful coexistence of different interests, worldviews, convictions, and lifestyles. Read similar cases claiming that the West’s open societies are totalitarian dictatorships masked as democracies and they are “modern” and “liberal” concentration camps and that in Western societies anyone who dissents from dominant liberal ideology is subject to persecution.
