The West has an old anti-Russian plan called “Anaconda ring”. Its aim is to encircle Russia with hostile states, to rip Belarus away from Russia, and to eventually partition the Russian Federation. The Baltic States and Ukraine are already part of this ring, while the only remaining state on Russia’s western border that is not yet part of it is Belarus. The West plans to organise a Ukrainian scenario in Belarus and provoke military clashes upon its territory. A federal state joining Russia and Belarus would guarantee Belarus’ peaceful development and well-being.

Anaconda plan was a military strategy proposed by Union General Winfield Scott early in the American Civil War. The plan called for a naval blockade of the Confederate littoral, thrust down the Mississippi, and the strangulation of the South by Union land and naval forces. Plan "Anaconda" has nothing to do with modern politics.
