The Association Agreement with Georgia benefits only the EU

The only benefit of the Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia is visa liberalization. However, it is beneficial only to Europe, as Georgian tourists represent an additional source of income.

The claim is ungrounded. Since Georgia signed the Association Agreement with the European Union, its export to the EU countries increased by USD 599.7 million. The EU allocated EUR 179.5 million for improving the agricultural sector in the 2013-2022 period. Since 2014, 3,607 Georgian students received education in European higher education institutions through the EU funding.

Ukraine boats in Kerch Strait were a provocation by Kiev

The provocation by Kiev in the Kerch Strait led to a lengthy naval chase and culminated in Russian coastguards using force to stop the perpetrators.

The incident occurred in the area that used to be Russian territorial waters, even before its reunification with Crimea in 2014.

On November 25 border patrol boats belonging to Russia’s FSB security service seized two small Ukrainian armoured artillery vessels and a tug boat and their crews after opening fire at them, wounding several Ukrainian servicemen. Russia argued that they were in Russian waters. However according to a bilateral treaty between Russia and Ukraine, signed in 2003 and ratified by Russia in 2004, governs the use of the Kerch strait and the Sea of Azov, which in the treaty is considered to be the “internal waters” of both Russia and Ukraine.

European Parliament is elected and paid to represent the interests of the USA

European Parliament does not need to know the interests of the European countries that it represents. It must know that there is USA and everything the USA asks is right, democratic, and beneficial. This is what they are receiving their salary for and this is why they are elected.

Conspiracy theory with no evidence given.

The Members of the European Parliament are directly elected by voters in all Member States to represent people’s interests with regard to EU law-making and to make sure other EU institutions are accountable and work in accordance with democratic standards.
