There are two versions of the events [regarding the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoning the Russian ambassador in relation to the cyber attacks on Bundestag in 2015]. Either they have a trump card, for example a photo of S.Naryshkin [the director of Russian Foreign Intelligence Service] awarding a hacker for the attack, or the Germans really want the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, against the wishes of the other Europeans and Americans. The Germans are facing an enormous pressure and must make some kind of reverences. And the reverences to Americans are always Russia-related. […] And then there is a second reason, and I might be mistaken but I suspect it exists: the Russian envoy to Germany was summoned the next day after it was announced that Russia will hold a Victory day parade on the 24th of June. Earlier, it was discussed in Germany that it would be represented at a very high level, possibly the Chancellor, and now they have a pretext not to come.
America has a choice between racism and anarchy. It is interesting that the protests caused by the death of George Floyd covered most American states but the centres of unrest with violence and looting are mainly in the states under the Democratic Party. These are the lands where Trump has not the slightest chance of winning. The most striking example is New York where Governor Andrew Cuomo does nothing to stop the crimes because, according to him, the looters have mingled with protesters.
Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative that the protests in the US caused by the death of George Floyd are in the interests of some in the US. The claim that Democrat leaders did nothing to prevent crime from being committed, is not true. Andrew Cuomo, governor of New York and a member of the Democratic Party, has criticised attorneys for not charging crimes appropriately as well as criticising Mayor Bill de Blasio for not deploying enough police officers to stop looting. Pro-Kremlin media have been exploiting the US crisis to push various disinformation narratives, such as the riots being staged by the Democratic Party or to portray it as the Deep State’s attempt to create an “American Maidan". Protests in the US against police brutality and institutional racism broke out in different states sparked by the death of George Floyd.
