Disinfo: American biolaboratories in Ukraine threaten Russia

American biolaboratories in Ukraine threaten Russia. US experts have compiled a collection of [disease] strains on the Ukrainian territory near Russian borders.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about secret labs and development of biological/chemical weapons around the world.

The Security Service of Ukraine called the messages about the existence of foreign biological laboratories in Ukraine false. The SSU statement says, "there are no foreign biological laboratories in Ukraine. Statements that were recently made by some politicians are untrue and deliberately distort the facts".

Virology laboratories in Ukraine are involved in preventing the risks of complex diseases by pathogens and, together with other similar projects, counteracting bioterrorism. In April, the US Embassy in Ukraine reaffirmed that the country offers its support to ensure Ukraine can detect and report outbreaks caused by dangerous pathogens before they pose security or stability threats. In June the Ukrainian health ministry answered to a Member of Ukrainian Parliament supporting the idea of secret US labs, that there were no such laboratories.

US protests organised to support Bill Gates’ forced vaccination of Americans

The mass protests in the United States are organised and coordinated. An important goal is to help Bill Gates push through the forced vaccination of Americans and everyone else.

This is another example of a Bill Gates conspiracy theory, posited with no evidence. The pro-Kremlin media has been spreading conspiracy theories about Bill Gates as part of its disinformation campaign around the coronavirus pandemic.

The widespread protests against racial injustice and police brutality began organically throughout the US following the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis on 25 May 2020. The protests have nothing to do with Bill Gates or his health care activism.

Ukraine redraws administrative districts that do not belong to it

Ukraine has published its proposed administrative district border reform. Kyiv seeks to redraw administrative boundaries in territories that do not belong to it, including the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Luhansk People’s Republic and Russian Crimea.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the illegal annexation of Crimea and the separatist territories in the Donbas.

No international body recognises the so-called referendum in Crimea, announced 27th of February and held less than three weeks later. On March 27th, 2014, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution in which it stated that the referendum in Crimea was not valid and could not serve as a basis for any change in the status of the peninsula. The oft-cited figure of 97% has been contested by the Kremlin’s own Human Rights Council, which estimated that only between 30% and 50% of Crimeans took part in the referendum, of which some 50-60% favoured secession. Crimea is still recognized internationally as a part of Ukraine.

The US and EU organized a neo-Nazi coup in Ukraine, which led to the loss of Crimea and an uprising in Donbas

Anti-Russian sanctions – imposed in 2014 after the United States and the EU organized an armed neo-Nazi coup in Ukraine, which led to the loss of Crimea and an uprising in Donbas – have been going on for six years.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation campaign against Ukraine, containing multiple disinformation narratives.

There was no neo-Nazi coup d'état in Ukraine organised by the US or the EU. The spontaneous onset of the Euromaidan protests was an organic reaction by numerous parts of the Ukrainian population to former President Yanukovych’s sudden departure from the promised Association Agreement with the European Union in November 2013.
