RESPONSE

According to Pew Research Centre, views of Russia are especially negative in Europe and North America. Only 21% of Americans have a favourable opinion of Russia. The 2018 study mentions that "Americans’ confidence in Putin has eroded somewhat, from 30% in 2007 to 21% today". At the same time, 27% of Republicans express favourable views of Russia (44% in 2003). According to a Gallup study, Americans' attitude regarding Russia is now the worst since the collapse of the USSR. Further debunking by The Insider.
