This is a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative aimed at portraying the West and the Western values as pernicious, immoral, degenerate and a threat to traditional values.
The narrative about “threatened values” is one of the most common pro-Kremlin narratives. It suggests that those who are committed to traditional values are now threatened by those who oppose them and instead seek to establish a 'morally bankrupt dystopia'.
This claim is intentionally confusing respecting the rights of all people regardless of their sexual orientation with forcing people to select a certain sexual orientation. LGBT rights were never about pushing others forcibly to choose a sexual orientation against their will; it is in fact the exact opposite of that since it strives to create a safe and equitable environment for everyone regardless of their sexual orientation or gender.
