[EU sanctions against Syria] are not sanctions; according to the rules of international law they are unilateral measures taken by a group of states against a sovereign state. Their decision is purely for political purposes. However, from a legal point of view, does this decision affect the state and its nationals? Yes. Therefore, according to the laws and rules of international humanitarian law, they are blatantly violating these rules.

The engine and resource base for the unification of the West itself is … the process of the disintegration of Russia, the entire post-Soviet space. That is, they are building their project, ruining ours. Accordingly, the more the pro-Soviet bloc collapses, the more the West “bites off”.

The narrative has been applied to report about protests in Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, as well as to portray the West as an aggressive actor constantly preparing new coups.
