DISINFO: Belarusian opposition plans genocide with coronavirus-infected, Soros funded, test tubes, given by Pompeo
SUMMARY
George Soros advocates for the reduction of the global population and sponsors related programmes. Soros funded the Belarusian opposition, which hates the Belarusian people and wishes to wage genocide in Belarus and takes part in this mission. They tried to organise revolutions in Belarus in 2006 and 2010 for Soros’ money. Once the opposition gets in power, they will apply their “kill lists” to reduce the population, targeting police, officials, judges, teachers, and others. Recently, Soros started a biological weapon, a test tube with the coronavirus infection. The Belarusian opposition already has it, it was passed on by the US delegation headed by Mike Pompeo. During his visit to Minsk in February, Pompeo met so called civil society which exists thanks to Soros’ grants. Each of the activists received a special gift from Mr. Soros, a coronavirus test tube. From now on, their bank accounts depend not on their popularity but on the number of civil victims. The people should not be panicking though. They should just decide what to do with the enemies and traitors.
RESPONSE
This is a mix of unfounded conspiracies concerning the coronavirus outbreak aimed to discredit the Belarusian opposition and the US, consistent with recurrent pro-Kremlin narratives about Soros and "secret elites" controlling the global development and Western attempts to organise a colour revolution in Belarus. On February 1st 2020, US State Secretary Mike Pompeo indeed visited Minsk and met the Belarusian president and other officials as well as a few Belarusian civil society activists. The accusation that he handed them test-tubes of coronavirus is completely unfounded. See earlier disinformation cases alleging that that coronavirus originated in a laboratory sponsored by George Soros, that the pro-Western Belarusian opposition is preparing a genocide, that the Belarusian opposition, civic activists and independent journalists make kill lists for Western security bodies, and Belarusian opposition leader Andrei Sannikau prepares a coup with US military assistance.
