The claim is a deliberate distortion of the original report, titled “Far-Right Group Made Its Home in Ukraine’s Major Western Military Training Hub”. As the report explains, a far-right group of military officers called Centuria, with strong links to the Azov movement, is gaining strength inside the Hetman Petro Sahaidachny National Army Academy (NAA), Ukraine’s main military education institution. Some of its members seem to have benefited from training opportunities in Western countries. But there is nothing in the report that may indicate that Western countries are deliberately promoting this far-right organisation, contrary to what the headline suggests.

The claim aims to promote several recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives, framing Russia’s rivals, in this case, Ukraine’s army and authorities, as Nazis and the West as a promoter of extremism.

Provocations, set-ups, are a the White Helmet's usual practice. In July this year, a chemical attack was reported to be planned in Syria. The target was supposed to be the inauguration of the President of Syria.

The terrorists plan to stage a “chemical attack” in an attempt to blame the government forces for poisoning the civilian population.

A common pro-Kremlin narrative on “lost sovereignty”. Latvia and other Baltic states, as well as other European countries, are frequently presented as “puppet-states” or colonies of the United States, which allegedly fully controls the domestic and foreign policy of these countries.

Latvia is a sovereign country, which shapes its own foreign and domestic policies. The country is not controlled by the US nor any other foreign government or organisation.

Disinfo: Green energy is a new form of colonialism

All the hype in the Western press about "green energy" is a priority of the USA and the EU; it is nothing but a way to prove the ideologically moral right of the West to impose additional duties on the goods they claim is made with "dirty energy" that comes from developing countries, whose industries are developing faster and more successfully against the background of the West's loss of its industry.

This is nothing but a new form of colonialism, in which the West wants to redistribute the wealth of the world in its favor under a beautiful "environmental" banner.

This is a recurring pro-Kremlin narrative trying to cast doubt on the existence of a climate threat by presenting it as a tool of political and economic manipulation, and often presents it as a way for the West to restrain its alleged competitors.

Low-income countries are in fact the most impacted by climate change and the least able to afford its consequences. Climate issues will also constitute a more serious barrier for development and progress in lower-income countries.
