Disinfo: Hong Kong protests are the West's revenge on China for not waging war against Russia

Summary

To cooperate with the US and Europe, all mainland Chinese companies have to run an office in Hong Kong. All money goes through Hong Kong and is controlled by Anglo-Saxon banks and elites. The gold and jewellery trades remain in their hands as before. This is what China disagrees with. Hong Kong youth shout what others put in their heads. Protesters are already using Molotov cocktails. As soon as China applies force, the West will introduce sanctions. The UK is behind the protests in Hong Kong. China is in the spiderweb of the British empire. No one will allow China with its present, pro-Russian, political position to develop. Over the years [the West] was preparing China for war with Russia and pumped China with competences and new industries. However, when Beijing refused to wage war against Russia, it was told: “Alright, then we will deal with you”.

Disproof

This is a conspiracy theory consistent with recurring pro-Kremlin narratives about western influence behind the protests in Hong Kong, a shadow government in the form of Anglo-Saxon control over Chinese trade through Hong Kong, and the West's anti-Russian activities. The claim that the West has been pushing China to wage war against Russia which Beijing ultimately refused to do, is a groundless conspiracy theory. The protests in Hong Kong started in June 2019 over a controversial extradition law, but have expanded to call for Hong Kong's leader to step down, an inquiry into alleged police brutality, for those who have been arrested to be released and greater democratic freedoms See earlier disinformation cases alleging that Britain and US are organising the protests in Hong Kong, the Luciferian Zionist Rothschild crime family controls the Western mainstream media, and the West always dreams of splitting Russia.

Disinfo: The US interferes in Russian internal affairs

Everyone understands that the United States, both as a state represented by its embassy, and by the resources that are located there, uses its strength and influence in order to intervene in the domestic political processes in Russia.

Disproof

An unfounded conspiracy theory on foreign influence on Russian politics, and the US and/or other actors standing behind any expressions of popular discontent. Similar cases can be found here and here.

Disinfo: Lithuania is not independent because it follows the same position as the EU, NATO and the US

Lithuania should not boast of independence, as over the past three decades it has been following the same position as the EU, NATO and the United States.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about lost sovereignty, external control and socio-economic degradation of the Baltic states. Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are sovereign countries, who determine their own domestic and foreign policies, including membership in military and other alliances. See earlier disinformation cases claiming that Lithuania campaigns against Belarusian NPP because it has been offended by the EU, The US does not care about the Baltic states and wants Russia to buy them, etc.
