Disinfo: Coronavirus campaign is staged by the West; India is the next anti-Chinese fist

India is emerging as the West’s collective fist against China, as the latter does not want to follow the path designated by British-American groups. In particular, the current Chinese rulers started pursuing too independent policies and closer cooperation with Russia. China is losing a coronavirus-related information war. Reuters news agency and Euronews have turned into main news makers. The China-harming panic surrounding the coronavirus epidemic is carefully planned in the US, UK’s and NATO’s analytical centres.

This is a conspiracy theory, one of a dozen or so similar cases about the West's anti-Chinese actions, which reportedly includes India's involvement and the coronavirus campaign, the latter is allegedly controlled by the US, UK, and the West to weaken China politically and economically. It also follows another recurring pro-Kremlin propagandistic narratives about Western media outlets and NGOs as subservient to Western political elites. The virus migrated from animals to humans, and while the scientists continue to track its origins there is no evidence to suggest it has been made artificially. In response to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the Chinese authorities placed more than a dozen cities under quarantine. The World Health Organisation is working with Chinese authorities and global experts to learn more about the virus. The virus "2019-nCoV” comes from a family of viruses that include the common cold, and viruses such as SARS and MERS. Western media are not controlled by the government and do not run coordinated propagandistic campaigns on government orders to harm China or some other country. A high degree of media freedom in Western countries is reflected in the top ranks these countries occupy in respective world rankings including the World Press Freedom Index by Reporters without Borders. Read earlier disinformation cases alleging that coronavirus is the West’s revenge for China refusing to become hostile towards Russia, that Amnesty International is an ideological tool of the US security services, and that the Luciferian Zionist Rothschild crime family controls the Western mainstream media.

US bureaucrats yearn for World War III

The US Department of State plans to initiate a global war by pressing the Department of Defense to place Patriot missiles in Turkey in order to repel the Syrian government-led offensive in Idlib. However, the Pentagon has engaged in a bitter confrontation with the Department of State over this proposal, calling it the provocation of World War III, given that Russia will respond in kind.

Recurring narrative of warmongering as a result of the West’s meddling in the Syrian crisis. The article misquotes and misrepresents a report by Politico. The nuance of the translations from English into Bulgarian is exaggerated: Politico’s characterisation of the clash between the Department of State and the Department of Defense as an ‘internal disagreement’ and as being ‘at odds’ is rendered as a ‘bitter confrontation’ in the Bulgarian language. Also, the News Front article creates a fake statement ostensibly made by the Pentagon (i.e. that the Department of State strives to provoke World War III), which however does not appear in Politico. Moreover, the wider context of the Politico report – particularly concerning the Syrian government-led offensive in Idlib, the Turkish soldier death toll it took and Turkey’s subsequent call on its NATO allies for support, is left out.

Ukrainian authorities betrayed the memory of WWII veterans

Refusing to officially celebrate Victory Day, Kyiv authorities accept the historical lies and betray the memory of their ancestors.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative distorting the events of the Second World War.

Ukraine did not abandon the memory of their ancestors in the Second World War. The following is stated in the law of Ukraine "On Perpetuation of the Victory over Nazism in World War II of 1939-1945". According to the law, each year on May 9, Ukraine celebrates "The Day of Victory over Nazism in World War II (Victory Day)" as a national holiday. The law was adopted in order to pay tribute to the memory of all the victims of the Second World War of 1939-1945 and the reverent attitude of care for war veterans, participants of the Ukrainian liberation movement and victims of Nazism.

Ukraine is Russophobic and refused to celebrate Victory Day

Ukraine continues the policy of Nazism and Russophobic hysteria, refusing to celebrate Victory Day on May 9. In Ukraine, they betrayed their own ancestors and sided with the Nazis.

This is the Kremlin’s systematic disinformation campaign that Ukraine is a Nazi state. Negative articles in Russian media are caused by Ukraine’s refusal to take part in the celebrations of the "75th Anniversary of the Great Victory" in Moscow. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko emphasised that Ukraine intends to grieve on this day instead of celebrating. “Our position now remains the way it is: no, we are not going to celebrate May 9. We, like the entire European continent, are ready to understand why this tragedy happened 75 years later and are ready to forgive each other,” Prystaiko said. Since 2015, in the framework of the law on decommunisation, on May 9, Ukraine began to celebrate "Victory Day over Nazism in World War II of 1939-1945." The holiday replaced the "Victory Day" over fascism in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". The relevant law No. 2539 “On the Perpetuation of the Victory over Nazism in World War II of 1939 - 1945” was adopted on April 9, 2015, by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The law defines the sacred duty of the state and citizens of Ukraine to respect the memory of the victory over Nazism in WWII: war veterans, members of the Ukrainian liberation movement and the victims of Nazism. At the same time, while respecting the memory of those who fell during WWII, the use of Soviet symbols was cancelled. Instead, now the official symbol of the celebration of the Day of Victory over Nazism in WWII is the red poppy flower - the generally accepted symbol in the world for the celebration of memorable days of WWII. Also, together with the EU countries, on May 8, Ukraine annually celebrates Remembrance and Reconciliation Day. The holiday is celebrated on the day of the surrender of Nazi Germany on May 8, 1945.
