Disinfo: Coronavirus was created by Americans in Ukrainian laboratories

Summary

Coronavirus can be explained by the fact that in Ukraine there are 15 biological laboratories funded by America. Covid-19 could have been developed in one of the biological laboratories in Ukraine!

Another conspiracy theory about the emergence of coronavirus in the world. Currently, the source of the new strain of coronavirus is still unknown, however, allavailable evidence suggests that this type of virus has a natural animal origin and is not a constructed virus. It has not been developed in any of the world's laboratories. The Biological Threat Reduction Program of the US Department of Defense collaborates with partner countries to counter the threat of outbreaks (deliberate, accidental, or natural) of the world’s most dangerous infectious diseases. The Biological Threat Reduction Program’s priorities in Ukraine are to consolidate and secure pathogens and toxins of security concern and to continue to ensure Ukraine can detect and report outbreaks caused by dangerous pathogens before they pose security or stability threats. BTRP has upgraded many laboratories for the Ministry of Health and the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service of Ukraine, reaching Biosafety Level 2. In 2019 BTRP began constructing two laboratories for the latter, one in Kyiv and one in Odesa. The Ukrainian Science and Technology Centre is an intergovernmental organisation established in 1993. Now, in addition to Ukraine and the USA, it includes Azerbaijan, the European Union, Georgia, Moldova and Uzbekistan. The combined efforts of countries help ensure that dangerous pathogens do not fall into the wrong hands.

This message is a part of the widespread Kremlin’s narrative about the Russophobic Poland, which refuses to accept the official Russian view on WWII and its political consequences. There will be no public events commemorating the anniversary of the capture of the city of Szczecin not because of the alleged “virus of Polish Russophobia”, but because of the occupation of Poland after WWII. In 1944-1945, the USSR occupied Poland, establishing the undemocratic and repressive Communist Poland. De facto, Poland appeared under the Soviet military occupation until 1989, while the Russian troops were withdrawn from Poland only in 1993. The very fact that the Red Army captured Warsaw and pushed the German troops out of Poland in 1945 does not mean that the USSR brought freedom to the Polish people. According to the statements of the Polish MFA, Poland respects the sacrifice of the Soviet soldiers in the fight with Nazism, but in 1945, Stalin's regime brought to Poland terror and atrocities. The Red Army liberated Warsaw from Nazi occupation, but it didn’t mean liberty for Poland as the Soviet Army stayed in Poland for 48 years, which resulted in decades of communist oppression. While the world community is trying to find the origins of coronavirus, fifteen American biological laboratories are functioning in Ukraine, their work is supervised by the CIA officers. Therefore, we do not exclude that coronavirus infection “Covid-19” could have been developed in one of the biological laboratories in Ukraine.

The World Health Organisation is working with Chinese authorities and global experts to learn more about the virus. The virus "2019-nCoV” comes from a family of viruses that include the common cold, and viruses such as SARS and MERS. The medical Journal “Emerging Microbes & Infections” specifically said there is “No credible evidence supporting claims of the laboratory engineering”. Disinfo: UK rejects 5G because of coronavirus

The UK rejects entire 5G. Huawei won’t be building technology necessary for 5th generation mobile network because of coronavirus. Borris Johnson stated that the decision followed an unclear and nontransparent situation over coronavirus.

Recurring conspiracy theory on coronavirus and 5G. The UK did not reject the 5G project in its entirety. The discussion is about whether the UK should ban Huawei as 5G vendor because of security concerns, not because of coronavirus. In January, the UK government approved a limited role for Huawei in building the country's new data networks. On top, the UK Government has strongly condemned the rumours about 5G and coronavirus as dangerous nonsense.
