DISINFO: Cultural Marxists colonise the mind of people in the West through an unprecedented brainwashing

SUMMARY

Cultural Marxists (or progressivists) control Western media, Big Tech, academia, the legal system and 95% of the Catholic Church hierarchy, as well as the Deep State in the US, the European Union and the UK. Thanks to their unlimited control over mainstream media, social media and education, cultural Marxists are able to colonise the mind and world-view of people in the West through a historically unprecedented amount of mass brainwashing.

RESPONSE

Conspiracy theory presented with no evidence. This is a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative claiming that the liberal societies of the West are ideological dictatorships that have imposed a dominant "liberal globalist" or "progressivist" ideology and that the elites in Western societies exercise total control over people’s minds and beliefs, censoring and suppressing any view that dissents from liberal-globalist-progressivist “single thought”.

The message contained in the article is also consistent with the recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about global elites secretly ruling the world, and specifically about the so-called “Deep State” in the United States and other Western countries, which rules above elected officials. This narrative aims to question the legitimacy of liberal democracy and Western institutions.

It is obviously false, as the article claims, that “cultural Marxists” exercise total control over media and education in the West and that they have imposed a totalitarian ideology and world view on society by brainwashing the masses. Western liberal societies, in sharp contrast to totalitarian regimes, do not impose a dominant ideology or “single thought” on their citizens; they do not suppress nor censor alternative points of view. Liberal societies are based on freedom of thought and on pluralism, a political philosophy which recognises and affirms diversity within a political body, and which permits the peaceful coexistence of different interests, religious and secular worldviews, convictions, and lifestyles.

Furthermore, the idea of a "Deep State" has always been very popular among conspiracy theorists. Its manifestations might be different, but generally, the concept conjures up the image of a small and secretive group of men, deciding the fate of the world behind the scenes. However, there is no evidence of such a "Deep State" existing in the United States or in other Western countries. No reputable political scientists and researchers confirm the existence of a “Deep State” in Western nations.
