Disinfo: Sanctions are the Western response to Russia’s strengthening, sanctions will be in force forever

“Are sanctions for a long time in general?”

“Forever. The revival of Russia’s national identity usually leads to the rapid growth of its physical strength. Nobody in the West liked it at the level of instinct. Sanctions are the reaction of an old and tough enemy to our reinforcement. And they can be lifted only if we become weak again.”

Sanctions are not a response to "Russias strenghtening". They were imposed on Russia by EU in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and the deliberate destabilisation of Ukraine. The economic sanctions targeting exchanges with Russia in specific economic sectors are aligned to the complete implementation of the Minsk agreements. www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/sanctions/ukraine-crisis/,

The UN GA also affirmed its commitment to the sovereignty, political independence, unity
and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and condemned the temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine – the
Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol – by the Russian Federation, [see the resolutions No 68/262 and No 71/205].

The West plans to use Ukraine as an explosive for a forthcoming war against Russia to take Russia’s natural resources for free

If there is a conflict […] between the US and Russia, or between the US and China, in this conflict Ukraine can really take part in a war against Russia.

Main aim of this war is to destroy Russia that has rich natural resources.

Technically, Ukraine can be used as a seed, as a contact fuse. It will explode, and everything will start blazing. It could be Donbas, Crimea and everything else.”

[They want to ruin Russia] because then resources can be taken for free. Because in Ukraine now, some people demand free sale of humus, black soil – to buy it for a pittance.

Conspiracy theory, no evidence given. Repeating recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation that the West is robbing Ukraine's soil and resources. Further debunking by StopFake. For background see: www.dt.se/allmant/dalarna/ryskt-rykte-uppror-svartjord-fran-poltava-till-dalarna,

The Ukrainian Army has a plan to attack to attract the attention of the world community during Russia’s presidential election and the World Cup

You know, the situation that has developed at this moment along the demarcation line, indicates that some steps are being done and these steps are aimed at … – well, let’s say – … to create favourable conditions for a possible, let’s say, attack, possibly for the escalations. The number of provocations has increased quite sharply.

The first [reason why Ukraine is allegedly preparing an attack] is, of course, attracting the attention of the world community. This is what Ukraine currently lacks and it was demonstrated by the recent conference in Munich [on security] with an empty room for Poroshenko. The next one is certainly an appropriate time for any provocations: the presidential elections in Russia, the World Cup.

Conspiracy theory, no evidence given.

Shooting during the Euromaidan in Kyiv was organised by former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili with the help of the US secret services and ‘Georgian snipers’

Alexander Revazishvili and Koba Nergadze went to Maidan on the orders of Mamuka Mamulashvili, former military adviser to Saakashvili […] They themselves were connected with Georgian special services controlled by Saakashvili. They were neutralizing the opposition.

It was necessary to create a stir. People should not stop. It did not matter whether to shoot a tree or barricades or those who threw Molotov cocktails. It was necessary to create chaos, so that the people would come out against the “Berkout”. “On February 10, 2014 the group was on the third floor of the ‘Ukraine Hotel’. Mikheil Saakashvili, Mamuka Mamulashvili, Andrey Parubiy, Sergey Pashinsky and a man in camouflage uniform. Saakashvili introduced him as a former US serviceman named Christopher Bryan. He had served in the US Army as a sniper.

There was no coup in Ukraine four years ago. The demonstrations which began in Kyiv in November 2013 – called "Maidan", or "Euromaidan" – were not provoked from outside but were a result of the Ukrainian people's frustration with former President Yanukovych's last minute U-turn when, after seven years of negotiation, he refused to sign the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement and halted progress towards Ukraine's closer relationship with the EU as a result of Russian pressure. The protesters' demands included constitutional reform, a stronger role for parliament, formation of a government of national unity, an end to corruption, early presidential elections and an end to violence http://bit.ly/2ftv6iT.
