Disinfo: Deutsche Welle is up to its neck in the information war

Deutsche Welle is not tabloid journalism. However, they are still up to their necks in the information war. They are definitely not associates of objective journalism.

No evidence given to support the claims. Deutsche Welle is Germany’s international broadcaster. It is a public broadcaster and is financed by federal tax resources. It also runs the DW Akademie that plays a leading role in the development of free media systems, creating access to information, setting standards for education and independent journalism.

This message is also part of a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the spread of Russophobia in Western media, which also allegedly censors views critical of dominant Western narratives. You can find similar disinfo cases such as "Western journalism is dominated by Russophobia and prefers fantasy and storytelling to objective reporting" and "German media and NATO portray Russia as an enemy".

Cases in the EUvsDisinfo database focus on messages in the international information space that are identified as providing a partial, distorted, or false depiction of reality and spread key pro-Kremlin messages. This does not necessarily imply, however, that a given outlet is linked to the Kremlin or editorially pro-Kremlin, or that it has intentionally sought to disinform. EUvsDisinfo publications do not represent an official EU position, as the information and opinions expressed are based on media reporting and analysis of the East Stratcom Task Force.

Using Greta Thunberg is a PR stunt and political paedophilia

Greta Thunberg performs in Davos. At the same time, the girl does not go to school, but she knows the words “fossils” and “investments”. First the UN, then Davos. This is already becoming a PR stunt, it has nothing to do with realities. This is some kind of paedophilia, political paedophilia, when they look at Thunberg and say – yes, yes, say more.

This claim is a conspiracy presented without any evidence. It is recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about climate change and international youth climate protests started by the Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.

In August 2018, the Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg staged a "School Strike for Climate" in front of the Swedish parliament. Later, her strikes inspired youth from all over the world to join a global #FridaysForFuture campaign. The first international school strike was held on Friday, 15 March 2019. Ever since Greta Thunberg has been the target of derogatory commentary from pro-Kremlin media. Read our analysis here.

There is no investigation and trials on Litvinenko and Skripals cases

What about the sanctions against us, regarding the Skripals? Nothing is proven at all. The same case with the terrible martyrdom of the poisoned Litvinenko. And who poisoned him? There is no investigation, no trial.

Recurring disinformation about the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko and the Skripals.

In fact, both cases have been subject to the following procedures in the British courts.

Paedophiles are striving for European political arena

Martijn, Dutch society of pedophiles, disbanded in 2014, planned to set up an organisation “Party of love, freedom, diversity of loved ones” in 2020. These dead pedophiles rose again and started to fight for the legalization of sex with children. They want to run in the elections to be plunged in this obscenity officially. Pedophiles’ lobby defiled everything in the Netherlands including the royal crown, therefore nobody is surprised that pedophiles front continues its activity this year.

A conspiracy theory consistent with the myth about immoral West and pedophilia. Also, an example of generalisation and exaggeration as a method of disinformation. The story in Georgian pro-Kremlin outlets is a direct translation of stories published in Russian media on pedophilia in the Netherlands. Identical narratives appeared on Ren TV, NTV, Vzglyad and others. Zavtra.ru even assessed the story as "pedophiles' attempt of state-capture." Martijn and Party for Neighbourly Love, Freedom, and Diversity (PNLVD) are both controversial and marginal organizations and have no support among the Dutch population. Martijn was banned by the Dutch Supreme Court in 2014 and in 2015 ECHR rejected their complaint. In 2006, 82% of the Dutch population wanted the government to outlaw the PNLVD. The article from Dutch RTL, cited by Ren TV [02:12 - 02:25] as proof of paedophile party's re-establishment, is, in fact, an article saying that Dutch prosecutor's office launched an investigation against the association. Ren TV describes the demands of Martijn and does not show the full picture of the persecution. Martijn's controversial demands are portrayed as a norm and general policy of the EU member country. As for the royal crown, Martijn published the photos of the royal family on their website in 2007. The court ordered to remove the photos and fined the association €5,000 every time photos of children of the royal family are placed on the site again.
