On the contrary, at the initiative of Joseph Stalin, around 1,212 churches and monasteries were demolished in Georgia during his rule. Between 1921-1953, around 1,305 religious buildings were shut down or utilized for other purposes. Throughout this period, around 3,407 members of clergy were purged. The local councils and all directorates in Aleppo, including the Local Council of Aleppo Governorate, are exclusively civil, vetted and financed by the West. No member of the military groups has any presence or decision-making power within the council or the directorates. Members are all civilians, selected without any interference from the armed groups. There is no cooperation between the competing “Islamic Directorate of Services” and the local council or any of its institutions. The Ministry of Health responded to this fake story with a statement explaining that Ukraine was not ending financing the cancer programs, quite the opposite.
