Disinfo: Federica Mogherini and Donald Tusk spread disinformation on Syria

EU top diplomat Federica Mogherini and European Council President Donald Tusk are spreading disinformation on the situation concerning humanitarian aid to Syria. Russia has been providing humanitarian aid to Aleppo for years and also urging the UN to solve the situation for the civilian population but someone is discouraging the UN from acting.

Actually, Russia has twice vetoed United Nations Security Council resolutions, in October and December, that demanded an immediate end to air strikes and military flights over Syria's Aleppo city and called for a truce and humanitarian aid access throughout Syria. The EU through Federica Mogherini is working with the UN to call on the Russian and Syrian authorities to protect civilians so that the UN can complete the delivery of humanitarian aid. On December 19, the UNSC (including Russia) has passed a resolution sending observers to Aleppo:

Cases in the EUvsDisinfo database focus on messages in the international information space that are identified as providing a partial, distorted, or false depiction of reality and spread key pro-Kremlin messages. This does not necessarily imply, however, that a given outlet is linked to the Kremlin or editorially pro-Kremlin, or that it has intentionally sought to disinform. EUvsDisinfo publications do not represent an official EU position, as the information and opinions expressed are based on media reporting and analysis of the East Stratcom Task Force.

The Syrian White Helmets are working only when TV teams are present

The Syrian White Helmets are working only when there is a camera crew around. They also have ties to terrorists, they are looting and even killing the victims of bombing raids.

No evidence given. Furthermore, The White Helmets are the only independent observers present in the part of Syria where Russia is fighting alongside Assad. Russia has consistently tried to compromise the NGO with accusations. The NGO is widely respected and recently received the Right Livelihood Award of 2016

Western concerns about the civilian lives in Aleppo are a propaganda campaign to spoil Russia’s glorious victory

The West and “its” UN immediately began to sound the alarm of a “terrible humanitarian catastrophe” – worried about the fate of terrorist families. Now the point is to cast a shadow on Russia’s unquestionable victory; a victory the audiences in the West will not hear about.

Recurring narrative on the West campaigning against Russia. Western media has reported on the situation throughout the conflict in Syria and there is no glorious victory on either side, since there has been massive loss of civilian lives.
