Disinfo: Eurointegration is based on racial principles and has no difference from Hitler's ideology

Summary

The Western ideology equals Nazism and communism with the aim to justify the racial theory of Anglo-Saxons, which in turn justifies Nazism and fascism. This is what Banderites in Ukraine and nationalists in Poland and the Baltic states currently do. They are sort of the vanguard of Western barbarianism against the Russian world.

In Poland fascism has been reviving upon the country's return to western values. This is not accidental, given that the main guarantor of Polish independence is the US, whose ideology and politics are narrowed to Russophobia and support to terrorist organisations.

Western ideologists and politicians and their anti-Russian puppets in the post-Soviet space continue fascist propaganda in the form of a racial theory of Eurointegration. It is not different from Hitler's demagogy and his crusade against Bolshevism.

Disproof

This is a mix of recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about Western Russophobia, Western aggressiveness towards Russia, Nazi/ Fascist West, and the puppet status of Poland and some post-Soviet countries. It speaks about so-called Anglo-Saxons, which means “evil”, “belligerent” and “morally corrupt” Westerners in pro-Kremlin media.

The claim about the EU's foundations and the Eurointegration process as Nazi-like is absolutely groundless. The European Union was set up with the aim of ending the frequent and bloody wars between neighbours, which culminated in the Second World War. The Nazi ideology and the EU are based on opposite values and principles. Read more here.

In 2012, the EU was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for advancing the causes of peace, reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe. The accusation of Nazism/ Fascism and building a link to Nazi Germany is one of the favourite techniques of pro-Kremlin outlets. Read earlier propaganda cases linking Nazi Germany "Drang nach Osten" concept and the current EU's policies and our past analysis Nazi east, Nazi west, Nazi over the cuckoo's nest.

See earlier disinformation cases claiming that the West has approved a new ‘Barbarossa’ plan to attack Russia, that the West always dreams of splitting Russia and about waging a war against Russia from Belarusian territory, and that Belarus moves towards complete colonization by the West.

Disinfo: Influenced by Russophobic lobby, Brussels destroyed relationship architecture between Russia and the EU

The relationship architecture between Russia and the EU was destroyed by Brussels. Western sanctions on Russia are illegal and were implemented without any logical reason. The EU believes that - for them - everything is permitted. The announcement of potential new sanctions on Russia shows that Brussels feel its own impunity. It is the result of an aggressive Russophobic lobby in the European Union.

Disproof

Recurring disinformation about the European Union, accusing Brussels of Russophobia and use of sanctions to destroy relations with Russia.

The EU has imposed restrictive measures since 2014, including sectoral sanctions, as a result of the illegal annexation of Crimea and Russia's destabilising actions in eastern Ukraine. Formats such as regular high-level dialogues remain suspended in the absence of the full implementation of the Minsk agreements by Russia. These events have seriously affected bilateral relations.

Disinfo: The US and the EU try to entrench totalitarianism in the World

The Western countries try to change international law and to seize the right to global decision making. They want to reverse the process of polycentric world formation. An example of it is the practice of implementation of illegal one-way sanctions. These totalitarian steps, made first of all by the US and the EU, are unacceptable.

Disproof

Recurring disinformation message about the US and the EU. The narrative is linked to sanctions on Russia imposed by the Western countries.

The sanctions, implemented by the EU and the US on Russia, are legal and are linked to aggressive actions of Moscow and oppression of human rights. Since March 2014, the EU has progressively imposed restrictive measures against Russia in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and the deliberate destabilisation of Ukraine.

Disinfo: The coup pushed DNR and LNR to be independent

That the Ukrainian authorities began, in April of 2014, a military operation against the inhabitants of the two popular republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, which unilaterally declared their independence, as an expression of their opposition to the coup that took place in Ukraine in February of the same year.

Disproof

Recurring disinformation message about eastern Ukraine, claiming that the foundation of the DPR and LPR came as a response to the 2013-14 protests in Kyiv, often painted as a coup d'état and laying responsibility for the ensuing Russian aggression on the West (US and EU).

What happened in the Donbas area is a well-documented act of aggression by Russian armed forces and far away from being an internal conflict.
