A recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about Ukraine's statehood which claims that the Euromaidan protests were organised by foreign forces. The spontaneous onset of the massive Euromaidan protests was a reaction of the Ukrainian population to the sudden departure of President Yanukovych from the Association Agreement with the European Union and to the brutal dispersal of student protestors on 30 November 2013. Disinfo: Crimea rejoined Russia in democratic referendum

Crimea reunified with Russia in 2014 following a successful referendum on the matter in the peninsula. While Western countries and Kiev have not recognised Crimea’s new status and accused Moscow of meddling in Ukraine’s affairs, Moscow has denied any interference claims and insisted that the referendum was carried out in line with international law.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the illegal annexation of Crimea. No international body recognises the so-called referendum, announced 27th of February and held less than three weeks later. On March 27th, 2014, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution in which it stated that the referendum in Crimea was not valid and could not serve as a basis for any change in the status of the peninsula. The oft-cited figure of 97% has been contested by the Kremlin’s own Human Rights Council, which estimated that only between 30% and 50% of Crimeans took part in the referendum, of which some 50-60% favoured secession. Disinfo: The system of Western values has collapsed

The fight against the coronavirus is not over, but it has become obvious that the Western human-centric system of values has collapsed. Nothing is heard anymore about the LGBT rights. What is now going to happen to toilets for the third gender, that was so loudly discussed in Germany? Where are the demands to organise gay parades? And news about the Western stars changing the gender of their children? Nothing is heard anymore about the German invitation for refugees, and any politician who will return to this topic, will become a political corpse.

While the European Union is focused on overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, it remains committed it its values, including human dignity. The European Commission has also issued guidance on the implementation of relevant EU rules on asylum and return procedures and on resettlement in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, for the EU members states, to ensure the continuity of procedures and the respect of basic rights. This disinformation message appeared in the same TV broadcast as the claim that the West have disposed of Ukraine like trash.
