Cases in the EUvsDisinfo database focus on messages in the international information space that are identified as providing a partial, distorted, or false depiction of reality and spread key pro-Kremlin messages. This does not necessarily imply, however, that a given outlet is linked to the Kremlin or editorially pro-Kremlin, or that it has intentionally sought to disinform. EUvsDisinfo publications do not represent an official EU position, as the information and opinions expressed are based on media reporting and analysis of the East Stratcom Task Force.

There is no connection between Petrov, Boshirov and Skripal’s poisoning

UK’s Prime Minister Theresa May was “lying and distorting” facts at the UN General Assembly, while stating that Russia was guilty of Sergey Skripal’s poisoning. There is no proven connection between Petrov, Boshirov and Skripal’s poisoning. This is a political provocation.

Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about Skripals' poisoning.

Two Novichok suspects claimed they were visiting Salisbury Cathedral but, according to the street cameras, they went two miles along the wrong route that is opposite to this place and leads to the house of Skripal.

The West persecutes the Russian Orthodox Church and prohibits Russian language

The West is promoting Russophobia, which is a type of racism. It regards Russia as a criminal regime (the West invented the situation in Salisbury), persecutes the Russian Orthodox Church (it wants to schism of the Orthodox Church) and prohibits the Russian language.

No evidence given.

Neither the EU or US have ever called Russia a criminal regime as well as never prohibited Russian language anywhere or persecuted the Russian Orthodox Church.
