Disinfo: Europe wants to take away visa-free regime from Ukraine

Europe wants to take away visa-free regime from Ukraine, even after people died for it on Maidan. Europe is fed up with the numbers of illegal migrants from Ukraine.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation.

In the Second Report of the Visa Suspension mechanism the European Commission notes that Ukraine continues to fulfil the benchmarks for visa liberalisation.

The European Commission does not declare any plans to freeze or abolish the visa-free regime. Neither does it introduce conditions to be fulfilled by Ukraine for the continuation of the visa-free movement.

The annual European Commission report  summarises functioning of the so-called Visa Suspension Mechanism. It provides a detailed analysis of recent developments relating to the implementation of the visa liberalisation benchmarks in 26 countries, including Ukraine.

The US invested in the Euromaidan protests

The US invested in the Euromaidan protests and is still waiting to get the ‘dividend’ from them.

No evidence given for the US being involved in the Euromaidan in 2014 protests, which were a civilian movement.

Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative on the West fuelling the protests in Ukraine and campaigning against Russia.

By 2050, the European Union will become Islamic

By 2050, the European Union will become Islamic. Some people in Europe are already replacing the star on the Christmas tree with a crescent moon [Islamic iconographic symbol].

The green banner of the Prophet will unite the European Union much more strongly than bureaucrats in Brussels. With migrants continuing to arrive in Europe, the balance is shifting even more towards Islamization. According to the most moderate forecasts, Europe will change completely and irrevocably by 2050.

The day will come when Russia will need to defend its western borders more than its southern borders from penetration by radical Islamists.

No evidence is provided to support this claim.

This case exemplifies recurring pro-Kremlin narratives about the Islamization of Europe and decaying, threatened European values.

Ukraine is preparing a new provocation in the Kerch Strait

Kyiv is preparing a new provocation in the Kerch Strait. According to a video, Kyiv has transferred military boats to Odessa.

No evidence given. Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation on Ukraine and "provocation" in Kerch strait.

According to Stop Fake, the Youtube video quoted by Russian media shows tugs and pontoons, not military boats. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that in November specialists of the Ukrainian Armed Forces participated in competitions for the best pontoon platoon.
