European Parliament is elected and paid to represent the interests of the USA

Summary

European Parliament does not need to know the interests of the European countries that it represents. It must know that there is USA and everything the USA asks is right, democratic, and beneficial. This is what they are receiving their salary for and this is why they are elected.

Disproof

Conspiracy theory with no evidence given.

The Members of the European Parliament are directly elected by voters in all Member States to represent people’s interests with regard to EU law-making and to make sure other EU institutions are accountable and work in accordance with democratic standards.

UN resolution is yet another act of the West’s anti-Russian campaign

The UN General Assembly resolution regarding the militarisation of the Crimean peninsula is proof of an ongoing campaign against Russia, aimed at finding anti-Russian traces.

//

The resolution was adopted under the pressure from the West, it is a continuation of the anti-Russian policy and it is not about the Crimea. If the Crimea did not exist, the West would have come up with something else, directed against Russia.

//

By adopting the resolution, a group of the UN member states, mostly from NATO and the EU, encourages Ukrainians to commit new crimes and provocations in the name of Western political ambitions.

Disproof

No evidence given. Recurring narrative on the West campaigning against Russia.

The General Assembly adopted on 17 December 2018 a resolution urging the Russian Federation to withdraw its military forces from Crimea and end its temporary occupation of Ukraine’s territory without delay. 66 countries (including most EU and NATO members, who, however, do not represent the majority of the countries for the resolution) voted in favour to 19 against.

Russia may join the EU army. Its request to join NATO was rejected

In light of disintegration of Ukraine and the presence of US-supported Nazi groups at Europe’s borders, the Europeans might accelerate the creation of their own army. Russia may use this opportunity to join the EU army. In the past Russia requested to join NATO, but it was refused.

Disproof

No evidence given. Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about the creation of an European army, also as an alternative to NATO.

No record of any official request from Russia to join NATO can be found. According to NATO, it has worked to build a partnership with Russia, developing "dialogue and practical cooperation in areas of common interest". Cooperation has been suspended since 2014, in response to Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine but political and military channels of communication remain open.
