Finland is the first country to de facto waive the sanctions against Russia

Finland is the first country to de facto waive the sanctions against Russia and to officially declare so.

The implementation of the Minsk agreement is the first condition for lifting the EU’s sanctions on Russia, according to the Finnish Prime Minister. The Finnish-Russian trade commission has met for the first time since 2013.  More details in the press release of the Government Offices of Finland.
