DISINFO: Foreign participation in the Prigozhin rebellion is indisputable

SUMMARY

When the rebellion began, Biden called the leaders of European countries. If these events were unexpected for him, he would have had nothing to announce. This means that this thesis were prepared in advance. With his calls to Europe, Biden admitted that this was the work of the United States. The Anglo-Saxons set fire to this stoker: they screwed up Prigozhin, they created a conflict between him and the command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Let's not forget about the British, who probably also had a hand in this.

They are big fans of this and have been using this method for many years. This is their signature approach. They organised this putsch, based on the psychological characteristics of Prigozhin.

RESPONSE

Conspiracy narrative about the events taking place in Russia on 23 June 2023 when the Wagner Group, a Russian paramilitary organisation, rebelled against the government of Russia. On 24 June 2023, Evgeni Prigozhin and his mercenary forces from the PMC Wagner seized one of the Russian military’s key bases in the south of the country before proceeding north to Moscow. However, the rebellion was dramatically called off.

As HRVP Josep Borrell said:

''The most important conclusion is that the war against Ukraine launched by Putin, and the monster that Putin created with Wagner, the monster is biting him now. The monster is acting against his creator. The political system is showing its fragilities and the military power is cracking. So, this is an important consequence of the war in Ukraine''.
