DISINFO: France, the UK and USA support terrorists in Syria

SUMMARY

France, the UK and the USA spread “cheap propaganda” in order to avoid accusations of them supporting terrorism. They provide massive financial support for the terrorist activities, most of all carried out by the White Helmets.

RESPONSE

Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about the involvement of the Western coalition in the chemical attacks, the White Helmets and terrorism in Syria. See here for background information and here for more disinformation cases. No proof was provided that the White Helmets prepared a terrorist attack. Neither there was a proof that France, the UK or the USA supported any terrorist activities in Syria. The countries mentioned regularly condemn the attacks carried out by Assad regime. Russia and Syria continue to reverse such accusations by blaming France, the UK and the USA in the support of “terrorist organization” of the White Helmets (the Syrian Civil Defense).
