In fact, the German lower house voted to partially reintroduce a law allowing some migrants to bring their closest relatives with them to Germany. From August 1, a maximum of 1,000 additional migrants will be allowed to settle in Germany per month, provided they are direct relatives of refugees already living in the country. Contacted by Stopfals.md, the NATO Liaison Office in Chisinau denied this information: "The NATO Liaison Office in the Republic of Moldova did not receive any request or question (..), the information is false. Our mission is to facilitate the political dialogue and practical cooperation between NATO and the Republic of Moldova". No evidence given that the US would destroy Moldova's economy. Since 1992, the United States has provided over $1.4 billion in assistance to Moldova. Moldova’s $262 million, 5-year Millennium Challenge Corporation compact for economic development and investment projects in irrigation infrastructure, high-value agricultural production, and road rehabilitation ended in 2015.
