Helsinki supports Ukraine in its anti-Russian propaganda

Summary
Helsinki supports Ukraine in its anti-Russian propaganda.
Finland and Ukraine agreed that Helsinki will provide financial assistance to Ukrainian schools in the amount of about 6 million euros over four years. With the funds provided, Ukrainian teachers will be able to upgrade their skills in teaching “modern children”.
After the coup in Kiev in 2013-2014, many Western countries supported the illegal Ukrainian government. Then, following the annexation of the Crimea to Russia, the West introduced a whole package of anti-Russian sanctions and actually declared Russia an “occupying country”.

Playing into the hands of Kiev, the Western “partners” turn a blind eye to the flagrant violations of the Minsk agreements by Ukraine and do not really influence the calling of the Ukrainian authorities to account.

In fact, the money referred to is to support Ukraine's education. Finland's development cooperation allocated to Ukraine will be EUR 15 million in 2018–2021. The support will be channelled to projects in the education and energy sectors. formin.finland.fi/public/default.aspx?contentid=372554&contentlan=2&culture=en-US, .

Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Mr. Raimundas Karoblis recognised the Crimean annexation to Russia

Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Mr. Raimundas Karoblis recognised the Crimean annexation to Russia.

Disproof

According to the Ministry of National Defence Republic of Lithuania, Lithuania supports Ukraine in every possible and legally permitted form, including military support.

“It is yet another attempt to disseminate bold lies, to set partners against each other and to damage public trust in Lithuania’s support to Ukraine, as well as to discredit Lithuania in international arena,” Mr. R. Karoblis said. “The security and stability of Ukraine, and its ability to handle emerging threats successfully, has a very significant influence to the security situation of the entire region, therefore cooperation with Ukraine has been one of the key foreign and security policy priorities of Lithuania for a long time already - and it will remain that way, despite hostile efforts to diminish Lithuania’s support to Ukraine. Lithuania stands by the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine and it will further support Ukraine’s aspirations of European and Euro-Atlantic integration just as it did.”

Sweden is thinking of sending its army to Donetsk, Sweden and Ukraine have earlier demanded the results of the battle of Poltava to be re-examined

Sweden is thinking about sending its army to Donbass to support a UN mission. This was stated by the Minister of Defence of the country Peter Hultqvist.
Earlier,  Ukraine and Sweden have demanded that the results of the Battle of Poltava, which occurred on June 27 (July 8), 1709, should be cancelled, and Russia recognized as a loser.
The initiative belongs to a group of activists of the Maidan and Scandinavian Society for Fair History, which consists of Swedish citizens of Ukrainian origin.

Disproof

The Swedish Minister of Defence did state during the Munich Security Conference that Sweden could be able to contribute to a UN-led peacekeeping mission in Eastern Ukraine, under the circumstances that Russia and the West agree on such a mission. But, he said, we are not there yet. www.svt.se/nyheter/inrikes/hultqvist-oppnar-for-att-skicka-svensk-fn-trupp-till-ukraina, . Nevertheless, the link to the battle of Poltava fits in the pro-Kremlin narrative of an aggressive West, and the mentioned organisation" Scandinavian society for fair history" does not represent the Swedish government.

The U.S. evacuate Daesh members from Syria

The US-led coalition is often accused of supporting terrorist groups in Syria, including organizing safe passage and extraction from encirclements and hot zones. Videos have appeared on YouTube and Facebook allegedly showing the process of transportation of the terrorists.

The source from the town of al-Hasakah (north-east part of Syria) has told Sputnik on the condition of anonymity that local people have witnessed US helicopters landing multiple times on the territory of the local prison, controlled by Kurds, and then leaving. According to the source, they were taking away some of the Daesh (banned in Russia) terrorists, detained in that prison.

Disproof

It is indeed true, as the article in Sputnik claims, that the US-led coalition is often accused of supporting terrorist groups in Syria, however there is never any evidence given. This time, Sputnik refers to anonymous "local people" and a video of a helicopter. The helicopter shown in the video is a Sikorsky S-92, not used by U.S. military forces. Tyler Rogoway of Aviation Intel, on Twitter, has identified the helicopter in question as having been registered to a U.S.-based firm. The article provides a photo of what appears to be the same helicopter with members of the Asayish, the police force of the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces. If this is indeed the same helicopter and it is used by members of the Asayish, there would be nothing unusual about it visiting a prison in al-Hasakah. There is no reason or evidence given  to assume the helicopter is evacuating Islamic State militants. Further debunking at Polygraph.info www.polygraph.info/a/isis-in-syria/29066277.html, .
