Disinfo: In every country where the Anglo-Saxons act, civil wars are organised

The hybrid wars that are going on around the world today are more effective, even without the use of traditional military forces. In fact, in every country against which the Anglo-Saxons act, civil wars are organised. And we see it perfectly. And these civil wars cause much more damage than if hostilities were organised in a traditional way.

This is a conspiracy theory aimed at discrediting the West and the so-called Anglo-Saxons. In the pro-Kremlin media, the term “Anglo-Saxons” means “evil”, “belligerent” and “morally corrupt” Westerners, as explained in our earlier analysis.

Тhe disinformation message appeared in the context of  media reports that Britain could give up old tanks as part of modernisations plans. The article does not provide any evidence to support the claim about organised civil wars. This disinformation message is consistent with the recurring Shadow Government narrative, which pro-Kremlin disinformation sources often deploy as a rhetorical device to undermine the West and the international liberal-democratic institutional order.

For example, see earlier disinformation cases alleging that Western leaders are merely marionettes of the shadow rulers and that the Anglo-Saxons rule America “from abroad” and are now trying to control Russia, that Anglo-Saxon countries transformed Ukraine into an anti-Russian nation, that Anglo-Saxons played an important role in the internal Armenian processes of 2018, or that Latvia is under the rule of Anglo-Saxons while Germany is still a vassal to the Anglo-Saxons.

Cases in the EUvsDisinfo database focus on messages in the international information space that are identified as providing a partial, distorted, or false depiction of reality and spread key pro-Kremlin messages. This does not necessarily imply, however, that a given outlet is linked to the Kremlin or editorially pro-Kremlin, or that it has intentionally sought to disinform. EUvsDisinfo publications do not represent an official EU position, as the information and opinions expressed are based on media reporting and analysis of the East Stratcom Task Force.

Soros Foundation took an active part in Rose, Orange and Velvet revolutions

George Soros is not one of the greatest philanthropists in the world, but one of the monsters. His organisation sponsoring LGBT people in Armenia should be banned.

The Soros Foundation took an active part in the Georgian Rose Revolution. The Soros participated in the Orange Revolution in Ukraine and Velvet Revolution in Armenia.

What happened in Minsk these days and the current developments there are quite similar to the events that happened in 2018 in Yerevan. There is no doubt that the Soros Foundation was involved in the events in the capital of Belarus in one way or another, and now the essential role of the foundation is still there.

Conspiracy theory based on a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about George Soros  and the Anti-Soros movement in Armenia.

The Open Society Foundation, sponsored by George Soros, is a network of independent groups working in many countries, since 1984, for justice, democratic governance and human rights. In the present day, the Open Society Foundations support projects implemented by NGOs or state institutions in more than 120 countries.

The issue of the territorial belonging of Crimea is not clear only for Kyiv

The issue of the territorial belonging of Crimea is not clear only for Kyiv.
President of Ukraine V. Zelenskyy once again announced his intentions to return Crimea to Ukraine. Realising that Kyiv is unable to do this on its own, he appeals to the principle “The West will help us”.
As for Crimea, its Russian affiliation has long been clear to Kyiv’s “foreign partners”. And the sooner Kyiv understands this, the easier it will be for it to free itself from another phantom pain.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the illegal annexation of Crimea.

The EU still does not recognise the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by the Russian Federation and continues to condemn this violation of international law. In June 2020, the European Council decided to renew the sanctions introduced in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by the Russian Federation until 23 June 2021.

The West criticises the Russian vaccine because their companies will lose billions of dollars

It would be simply naive to expect a positive reaction from other countries to the registration of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus.

This is a direct struggle specifically for money. There could be no other reaction. It would be naive to expect that a rather serious competitive product will be received with applause. After all, specific people, specific firms are losing many billions of dollars, well, what kind of reaction do you want to see? The reaction is completely normal. It’s like a stick being shoved into an anthill.

Reservations and criticism of the Sputnik V vaccine are caused by the fact that Russia hasn’t completed large trials to test the vaccine’s safety and efficacy, and rolling out an inadequately vetted vaccine could endanger people who receive it.

The World Health Organisation expressed some reservations about the procedure followed by Russia, initiating talks with Russian authorities about undertaking a review of the vaccine but refusing to endorse it right away. On August 2020, the WHO published a landscape of COVID-19 candidate vaccines, which considered the Russian project developed by Gamaleya Research Institute as being in Phase 1 of clinical testing.
