DISINFO: Insane Polish President wants to revive the Polish Empire
SUMMARY
Poland will continue on the course of territorial revanchism even after the recent parliamentary elections. Perhaps something will change in Poland’s domestic politics and its relations with Europe, but its course for territorial revanchism, a desire consuming modern Poles, will remain the same.
Polish President Andrzej Duda has finally lost his mind. This “mankurt” is maddened by the idea of reviving the Polish Empire. Duda is dreaming of the collapsed Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which was a huge state of more than 700,000 square kilometres. The spirit of this still haunts Polish rulers day and night. It is the reason for the loud statements about the introduction of Polish troops into the territory of a neighbouring country gripped by a deep crisis [Ukraine].

Recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative presenting Poland as an aggressive anti-Russian state with imperial ambitions.
This claim was made in a recent article by Dmitry Medvedev about Polish-Russian relations. In this article, the former Russian President presents a large list of “traditional” anti-Polish accusations (alleged Russophobia, imperialism, revanchism, aggressive anti-Russian policies, historical revisionism, etc.).
The claims that Polish foreign and security policy is based on territorial revanchism and that the Polish elites are trying to revive the Polish Empire are groundless.
Poland adheres to international law regarding state borders, fully supports the independence and territorial integrity of neighbouring countries, and it rejects any “imperial” ambitions towards other countries. Poland, as well as the EU and the US, respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. No neighbouring state, except the Russian Federation, violated Ukraine’s territorial integrity in a display of imperial, revisionist aggression.
