The Kyiv regime did its best. It refuses to fulfil the Minsk Agreements and thereby permanently cuts itself off from the Russian World and moves away from the Donbas. It cut itself off international law and became a terrorist regime.
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about the war in Ukraine alleging that Ukraine is refusing to follow the Minsk agreements and stating that the government of Ukraine is undemocratic.
Ukraine is not governed by a terrorist regime. The Ukrainian government is democratic; the politicians are elected in open, plural, and competitive elections reflected in the changes of political power. The government of Ukraine is recognised by all countries, including Russia.
Ukraine did not cut itself off international law and did not withdraw from the Minsk agreements. On the contrary, Ukraine has announced several ceasefires, the latest one being in July 2020, in the hope that Russia-backed separatists will do the same. However, they have been continually violating it. The Donbas separatists use banned weapons, undermine Ukraine's peace efforts and violate human rights.
