Disinfo: Lithuania and CIA support Russian opposition's battle against their own country and people

Summary

In alliance with Western secret services and Lithuanian conservatives, Russian “opponents of the regime” turn their battle with the authorities into one aganist their own country and people. They themselves become Western mercenaries.

<…>

Russian politicians could not have any common interests with centres of power, which work to destroy their own country, for inner destabilisation of the state provokes bloodshed.

<…>

Could Belarusian politicians wish poverty for Belarus? Could Russian politicians wish disasters and bloodshed for Russia’s citizens? The CIA, Lithuanian conservative, Emanuelis Zingeris could. Russian and Belarusian politicians could not.

Disproof

Pro-Kremlin disinformation about Lithuania and the protests in Belarus, Russia, advancing a recurring disinformation narrative about “colour revolutions”.

The latest protests started in Russia in January 2021, following detention of Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny. The EU has condemned the detention of Alexei Navalny and called for his immediate release.

The protests in Belarus erupte to contest the results of the presidential election in Belarus on the 9th of August, which were not monitored by independent experts and are largely considered fraudulent by both international observers and a big part of Belarusian society. On 19 August 2020, the European Council called the Belarusian elections neither free nor fair. In October 2020, the EU-Council imposed sanctions against 40 individuals identified as responsible for repression and intimidation against peaceful demonstrators, opposition members and journalists in the wake of the 2020 presidential election in Belarus, as well as for misconduct of the electoral process.

Lithuania has been to outspoken about the violation of human rights in Russia. Vilnius also supports Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and the people of Belarus in their fight for change and democracy. Lithuania, nor any other country aims to destroy Russia or Belarus.

See similar examples of disinformation which try to discredit the Russian opposition and accuse foreign powers of preparing colour revolutions in Belarus or/and Russia: Neo-liberal opposition and their foreign sponsors use children in Russia to increase their own wealth; Navalny is used as an instrument be the Western special services; Poland and Lithuania will continue their active interference in the situation in Belarus; Poland and Lithuania finance Svetlana Tikhanovskaya’s political agenda.

The Ukrainian revolution was well-planned from abroad

The Kyiv protests were well organised and completely controlled. And the murders of law enforcement officers and the “Heavenly Hundred”, with which the radicals are now rushing, and even the moment of the coup were all under the control of the curators who conceived, organised and carried out this operation.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative against Ukraine, containing multiple disinformation narratives regarding the Euromaidan protests and Ukrainian statehood.

There was no coup in Ukraine seven years ago. The demonstrations which began in Kyiv in November 2013 – called "Maidan", or "Euromaidan" – were a result of the Ukrainian people's frustration with former President Yanukovych's last-minute U-turn when, after seven years of negotiation, he refused to sign the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement and halted progress towards Ukraine's closer relationship with the EU.

Russia will have to help Brussels with the vaccination because of the chaos in the EU

Russia will have to provide the Sputnik V vaccine to European countries because Western coronavirus vaccine supplies to Europe are collapsing.

Disproof

This is the recurring pro-Kremlin narrative aiming to discredit Western vaccines and promote "Sputnik V", and is entirely without evidence.

The European Commission has authorised the first COVID-19 vaccines in the European Union (EU), following European Medicines Agency (EMA) approval. EMA is liaising closely with developers of other potential COVID-19 vaccines, mobilising its own resources and cooperating with regulatory partners.

COVID-19 pandemic is a global conspiracy in the interests of the global elite

The “pandemic” that we’re talking about since the spring of 2020 is not something spontaneous. This is a pre-planned operation with the goal of worldwide restructuring in the interests of the “global elite” (“world behind the scenes”, “deep state”).

Disproof

A recurring conspiracy theory that echoes pro-Kremlin disinformation about the artificial creation of COVID-19.

There is no evidence that the coronavirus (COVID-19) was created in laboratories and that the pandemic is a part of a global hoax. COVID-19 comes from a family of viruses that includes the common cold and viruses such as SARS and MERS. Coronaviruses are known to circulate in mammals and birds, and scientists have already suggested that COVID-19 originally came from bats. One of the previous coronaviruses that caused severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, spread from bats to civet cats to humans.
