Angela Merkel did indeed speak, about migration during her visit in Georgia, but she mentioned the asylum-seekers from Georgia, and not the Syrian refugees. According to Merkel, the number of asylum-seekers from Georgia drastically increased in Germany after the introduction of visa-free regime. According to Mythdetektor, she also added that Germany would recognize Georgia as a safe country of origin for the return of migrants.

Russian universities are among the top in the world

The Moscow State University and St. Petersburg University are in the top 50 best universities in the world with Moscow university ranking at number 20.

Disproof

Pervyi Kanal does not mention the name of the ranking. The newest statistics were published recently by QS Graduate Employability Rankings. According to QS, Moscow State University is ranked number 90 and St. Petersburg University - 235. Neither the other rankings mention Russian universities in high positions.
