Disinfo: Moscow did not interfere in US elections

Washington has repeatedly accused Russia of interfering in the US presidential elections that took place in 2016 by means of organized piracy operations on social media networks. Moscow denied these allegations, stressing that it was not involved in such operations.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation denying Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

Before the Mueller report was published, Russian meddling in the 2016 election had already been established by US intelligence agencies.

Regarding the exploitation of social media to interfere in the election, 13 Russian citizens have been criminally charged in the United States for conspiring to “sow discord in the U.S. political system”, including during the 2016 presidential election.

Three Russian companies were also indicted by a federal grand jury. One of them is the infamous Internet Research Agency, a troll factory based in St. Petersburg.

Belarusian opposition wants to turn Belarus into 51st state of the US

Independent Belarusian media see the country as 51st state of the US headed by Uncle Sam and cowboy Marlboro. The meeting of US State Secretary with Belarusian activists proves it. The Belarusian opposition would like to hand over Belarusian state to Americans. Julie Fisher who will likely become the US ambassador to Belarus knows everything about colour revolutions and their methods.

This publication is consistent with recurring pro-Kremlin propagandistic narratives about subservient Belarusian opposition and independent media, alleged plans of the Belarusian opposition to stage a coup in Belarus with US military assistance, and Western attempts to organise a colour revolution in Belarus.

The US and other Western countries do not have plans to organize a forceful power change in Belarus. Belarusian authorities expelled US ambassador in 2008 in response to US sanctions introduced for the rigged presidential elections in Belarus and poor human rights record. The sides announced their plans to restore ambassadors during the US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale' s visit to Minsk in September 2019. This intention was confirmed during US State Secretary Mike Pompeo visit to Minsk on 1 February 2020.

Belarus moves towards complete colonization by the West

The US would need a person completely dependent on CIA as the head of Belarus. He would need to have double citizenship, an English accent and thesis about the methods of US colonial governance in Eastern Europe defended at the Yale University. The current foreign minister Uladzimir Makey, although pro-Western, will only satisfy the West as a transitional figure. After the US Department of Commerce recognises Belarus as a market economy, it will soon join the WTO and sign a free trade agreement with the EU. The opening of Belarusian markets will be accompanied by filling legislative and executive branches of power with radical pro-Western and Russophobic forces. They would provide a political cover for the revolution.

After political and judicial systems are placed under West’s control, the public sector will become insolvent and the most important dozen of enterprises will be privatised by American transnational companies. The agricultural sector will be shut down, the IT sector will die, just as other economy branches including machine building. Massive unemployment and economic collapse will provoke mass emigration, while social protests will be oppressed by radicals which are currently trained in Polish and Baltic training camps. IMF-designed shock therapy would mean a colour revolution implemented through soft power. It will result in complete Belarus’ colonization by the West, foremost by the US but with the participation of Poland, Germany and Austria. Just as Ukraine, Belarus will come under external control and a puppet regime will be established. All economic policies, including negative ones, will pursue the aim to displace any Russian influence in Belarus.

This gloomy scenario is consistent with recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about West's attempts to stage a colour revolution in Belarus, to disrupt Belarus-Russia relations, and about Belarus' future being possible only in union with Russia. It is also consistent with a propagandistic narrative about US-controlled Ukraine and Ukraine as a puppet state. Furthermore, it puts forward groundless claim that Belarusian radicals are trained in Polish and Baltic state's training camps to suppress social unrest resulted from the hypothetical pro-Western course.

See earlier disinformation cases alleging that Poland is preparing Euromaidan scenario for Belarus, that Belarus will turn into anti-Russia in case it does not deepen integration with Russia, that the West's only interest in Belarus is to make it anti-Russian, and that the US plans to turn Belarus into its colony, a coup and foreign military invasion may happen.

French police were unbelievably reactive to arrest Russian asylum seeker

French Police arrested Pyotr Pavlensky, on Friday 14th of February, the very same day that the candidate to become Mayor of Paris supported by Emmanuel Macron resigned from the campaign. The reactivity of the police was astonishing against this asylum seeker from Russia who published material denouncing the “hypocrisy” of the candidate and former minister Benjamin Griveaux. He publicly declared that he was taking care of his children and that family life was important for him though he had an extra-marital relationship and part of his correspondence including of sexual content was published on the blog to prove the point.

The real chronology of the events around Benjamin Griveaux is different.

The post in the blog of Pyotr Pavlensky was published on Wednesday, February 12th. The next day, the article was spread among journalists and on Friday 14th the post and the sexual content was well spread in the public and Benjamin Griveaux announced that he renounced to lead the LREM list for the municipal election in Paris. In the evening the Blog of Pyotr Pavlensky was disabled after it reached more than one million direct readers not counting the reposts on social media.
