Disinfo: Navalny was not poisoned by novichok and Russian secret services are not involved

Novichok is a BATTLE POISONING GAS it cannot harm one person inside a plane or his cup of tea or as in Skripal’s case, rub the door handle with it. It is a gas and weapon of mass destruction it cannot harm specifically one person.

The poisoning doesn’t make any sense because Russia special services have a tradition of killing their enemies and terrorist like they did with Trotsky, Konovalets, Bandera. If Skripal had been a missed target for them, they wouldn’t have use the same technique for Navalny. There are many simple and efficient techniques to kill someone and bury his body in the forest. But Navalny was deep in debts (t 30 million roubles according to court decisions) and interested nobody.

The story advances a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative casting the Skripal and Navalny poisoning as wholly unconnected to Russia.

Some forms of the chemical weapon range known as Novichok are stable as a powder or a gel and can be easily carried in perfume bottles for instance and used on a surface. It has been established widely publicized in the Salisbury poisoning.

The argument that Russian secret services always succeed and since Skripal and Navalny are still alive, cannot be taken seriously since the aim of a poisoning with a rare poison is not limited to the elimination of a target but as in any terrorist attack aims at creating a psychological impact in the entourage of the victim and in the general public. Moreover, the act itself can be denied arguing that it is the consequence of common health issues. Recent history shows that several public figures were poisoned and survived.

First-graders from Ukrainian schools will not be able to count beyond one hundred

Ukrainian schools aren’t able to give proper education apart from “patriotic education”.

In 10 years, there will be a generation unable to read or write competently. Ukrainian first-graders can hardly count beyond a hundred. Already now children are leaving Ukrainian schools functionally illiterate.

A common pro-Kremlin narrative about the Ukrainian education system.

The state standard of primary education in Ukraine is common to all general secondary education institutions in the country. Among the competencies that a first-grader should have is mathematical competence, "which involves identifying simple mathematical relationships in the world, modeling processes and situations using mathematical relationships and measurements, understanding the role of mathematical knowledge and skills in personal and social life."

The West and NATO have been working on Novichok compounds for years

In connection with the categorical claims that toxic chemical compounds of nerve-paralytic activity have been developed in Russia, which are called Novichok in the West, the following should be noted. For many years, experts from many Western countries and NATO’s specialised structures have been working on the compounds contained in this extensive group of chemicals.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative on Navalny poisoning and NATO.

NATO Allies condemned in the strongest possible terms the attack on Alexei Navalny and noted that any use of chemical weapons, under any circumstances, is a clear breach of international law and contrary to the Chemical Weapons Convention, which prohibits the use of all chemical weapons.

Colour revolutions in the post-Soviet countries were aimed at separating those from Russia

As a rule, all the colour revolutions organised in the post-Soviet countries were aimed at separating those countries from the Russian Federation… Unfortunately, all these revolutions are either openly anti-Russian, and more often they are just such a slow-moving Russophobia, or even an attempt to move away completely from Russia.

This is a conspiracy which is consistent with a number of recurring pro-Kremlin propaganda narratives about the aggressive West, its attempts to encircle Russia and organise colour revolutions in the post-Soviet space and about the West's attempts to disrupt Russias ties with other post-Soviet countries.

This narrative portrays any spontaneous disorders and civil uprisings in other states, especially the former Soviet republics, as West-funded Anti-Russian and Russophobic "coups" and attempts by the West to overthrow regimes in post-Soviet states and in other regions.
