Disinfo: No Russian trace in the ‘yellow vests’ protests – concluded by France

France has actually concluded that there was no Russian trace in the protests.

The investigation, as announced by French authorities, started on December 8 and is ongoing. Social media accounts connected to Russia have been actively amplifying the protests, as reported by  The Times and Bloomberg. No evidence given for the alleged French conclusions.

Cases in the EUvsDisinfo database focus on messages in the international information space that are identified as providing a partial, distorted, or false depiction of reality and spread key pro-Kremlin messages. This does not necessarily imply, however, that a given outlet is linked to the Kremlin or editorially pro-Kremlin, or that it has intentionally sought to disinform. EUvsDisinfo publications do not represent an official EU position, as the information and opinions expressed are based on media reporting and analysis of the East Stratcom Task Force.

The fact that Skirpals are held away from public eye proves that UK is guilty

The fact that Skirpals are hidden and held away from public eye, is the proof that UK itself is guilty of their poisoning.

One of many continuing pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about the Salisbury attack. It is fairly obvious that, given the overwhelming evidence that the Skripals were the target of an assassination attempt by the Russian State, their whereabouts would now need to be protected

The US is pushing the world to the World War 3, which will be a nuclear war.

The US is pushing the world to World War 3, which will be a nuclear war. And the leaders think they will have time to run to specially built bunkers, where they will survive. They will not make it on time. All wars start because the diplomats think they will have time to run away.

Unsubstantiated claim. Consistent with recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative on the imminent threat of the World War 3.

According to Germany, NATO is not needed anymore

Germany declared it would continue to endorse NATO’s open-door policy towards Georgia (after a meeting between German and Georgian defence ministers) – but at the same time, it said that NATO was not needed any more and that the European countries must take care of creating the European army. President of France Emmanuel Macron is of the same opinion.

No proof or evidence was given for these supposed French or German leaders' statements about NATO being obsolete.

In her speech at the Munich Security Conference, as well as in other  public statements, the German Minister of Defense Ursula von der Leyen underlined that there is no competition between NATO and strengthening of the EU defence capabilities.
