The US interferes in Russian internal affairs

Everyone understands that the United States, both as a state represented by its embassy, and by the resources that are located there, uses its strength and influence in order to intervene in the domestic political processes in Russia.

Disproof

An unfounded conspiracy theory on foreign influence on Russian politics, and the US and/or other actors standing behind any expressions of popular discontent. Similar cases can be found here and here.

Bloody proposal of a Swedish professor: eat human flesh

A Swedish professor of Applied Behavioral Science suggested that one should consider cannibalism and start eating human flesh. According to him, this could save the planet from climate change.

In an interview with TV4, Magnus Söderlund, professor emeritus and director of the Consumer Marketing Center at the Stockholm School of Economics, spoke in favour of a diet based on human flesh.

According to him, eating human flesh could help fight climate change if the global community accepted this idea. However, Söderlund indicates that the main obstacle to this proposal is the taboo surrounding the consumption of dead humans because most people are “slightly conservative” when it comes to eating foods they are not used to.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative demonizing Western values and painting Europe as a continent of degrading moral standards.

The author makes a series of remarkable logical leaps by misquoting one person and presenting the doctored quote as proof of the imminent collapse of Western culture.

There was an unprecedented level of foreign interference in the election to the Moscow City Duma

No one pays attention to who works with whom. Deutsche Welle, BBC, Navalny, Venediktov and so on, all worked in unison. And this is perceived as normal. That is, there was an unprecedented level of foreign interference in Moscow City Duma elections.

Disproof

Unfounded conspiracy theory on foreign influence in Russian politics, and the US and/or other actors standing behind any expressions of popular discontent. Similar cases can be found here and here.

Andrei Kolesnikov, a political analyst at the Carnegie thinktank Moscow Centre, told Euronews that "External interference is mythologem. This is typical of the current government and typical of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, who believes that no one can take to the streets of their own free will: (for him) Maidan was organised by the US and so are these protests."
