Ukraine's post-Maidan government came to power as a result of a coup d’état.
After the recent Biden’s statement about the end of the US attempts to change the world by force, the activities of the American agents of influence in Eastern Europe in terms of “export of democracy” to the former Soviet republics have become devalued. The “promotion of democracy” no longer has an official supervisor. Now, the United States has deprived Poland, Lithuania and its other vassals of the ideology necessary for interference in domestic affairs of other countries. It does not mean that these countries will stop such activities. After all, democracy and progressive values are just a smokescreen for countering Russia in Eastern Europe. Russia has not disappeared anywhere, so the task of the fight with it remains unchanged. Therefore, Lithuania will continue its ridiculous activities in Moldova, Belarus and other countries, explaining them with the fight for democracy as it has no other ideological explanation for these actions.
A recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the Western attempts to organise a colour revolution in Belarus and undermine the security of Russia. Poland and Lithuania are presented as “puppet-states” or colonies of the United States, which fully controls the domestic and foreign policy of these countries.
There is no basis for the claims that Poland and Lithuania are trying to “organise a colour revolution in Belarus” or that they occupy a hostile position towards Belarus. Lithuania and Poland are neighbours of Belarus and continue to support the Belarusian people. Poland and Lithuania respect the principles of international law and do not intervene in the domestic affairs of any country.
Lithuania does not carry out "ridiculous" activities in Moldova. These countries have active diplomatic relations - Lithuania actively assists Moldova in the modernisation of its state institutions in various spheres (such as transport and border protection).
On 12 August 2020, the Parliaments of Poland and three Baltic States presented a joint statement protesting against political repressions taking place in Belarus and appealing to organise free and democratic elections in this country.
The EU member states perceive the situation in Belarus in a unanimous way, appealing to the Belarusian authorities to stop violence, release political prisoners and organise democratic elections in Belarus.
