Disinfo: Poland and the Baltic States are preparing for a future war with Russia

By comparing Hitler and the Soviet Union, Poland and the Baltic States, they are preparing the case for reparations, contributions and punishment of Russia, in case their campaign of weakening and dismembering Russia succeeds. It is a preparation for a future war.

They are reconstructing a Western public opinion about Russians and it is dangerous. When people stop being sympathetic to others it is easier to demand not just for reparations but also physical destruction of millions of people.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Poland and the Baltic States. See similar disinformation cases:  Poland is threatening Russia;Lithuania and Poland conduct aggressive hybrid war against Russia.

The disinformation message is also consistent with recurring pro-Kremlin narratives about the impeding war, and encircled Russia.

Cases in the EUvsDisinfo database focus on messages in the international information space that are identified as providing a partial, distorted, or false depiction of reality and spread key pro-Kremlin messages. This does not necessarily imply, however, that a given outlet is linked to the Kremlin or editorially pro-Kremlin, or that it has intentionally sought to disinform. EUvsDisinfo publications do not represent an official EU position, as the information and opinions expressed are based on media reporting and analysis of the East Stratcom Task Force.

The Iranian air-defence operator might have been recruited by US intelligence

PS752 was shot down deliberately to exert additional pressure on Iran from the United States during the alleged acute phase of the crisis between Iran and the United States, which had a chance to develop into an open regional war. In the framework of this version, it could be suspected that the [air-defence] operator may have been recruited by US intelligence or blackmailed, or the system was captured in an act of sabotage by the US or its affiliated forces.

An unfounded conspiracy theory. Iran has officially admitted the downing a result of a human error and has allowed independent experts access to the crash site.

Find here the EU statement regarding the incident.

Protests in France were instigated by the US

As soon as Macron started to criticise NATO and to lobby the creation of a European army, he faced troubles inside the country. He cannot engage in the foreign policy of the European Union anymore. Does it have some connection with his anti-American agenda?! Look at who benefits from this, look at what happens to countries where something does not coincide with the interests of the US.

It is one of the pro-Kremlin conspiracy theories hinting that the protests in France are caused by the US intrusion. It is consistent with the previous narratives about the “colour revolutions” and the US role in them.

The protests in France were motivated by a governmental initiative to increase fuel prices. Later popular discontent was caused by the planned pension reform.

Whistleblowers expose lack of evidence in OPCW’s Douma report

The credibility of the OPCW’s final report on the 2018 chemical attack in Douma, Syria has been fundamentally compromised by whistleblowers.

An OPCW engineering assessment leaked in May 2019 shows that chlorine canisters were manually placed at the scene of the incident, rather than dropped from the air as the OPCW has claimed.

An internal e-mail by an unnamed employee shows that the final version of the Douma report deviates considerably from the interim report and cherry-picks facts to support a predetermined conclusion.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives attacking the independence and integrity of the OPCW; lending credence to the claim that the 2018 Douma attack was staged; and absolving the Syrian regime of responsibility for chemical attacks in general.

The story relies mostly on two already-debunked leaks and does nothing to undermine the conclusions reached by OPCW. The concerns raised in the first document have been addressed in the final report (see Annex 6, pp. 55-6) and do not support the claim that the incident was staged. See the full debunk here.
