DISINFO: Political scandal in Austria is a perfect provocation of European liberals against the right wing politicians

SUMMARY

The political scandal surrounding former vice-chancellor of Austria Heinz-Christian Strache is a perfect provocation of European liberal forces against right-wing politicians. The plot is obvious: the attack on the even of the European election, “Russian trace”, allegedly independent journalistic investigation… // The Strache-scandal is an international campaign, and other “sensations” with “Russian trace” will follow.

RESPONSE

Conspiracy theory. No sign of Strache-campaign being part of an international master-plan. Both German magazine Der Spiegel and newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung have been open about their investigation. According to the media outlets, they obtained the video footage in May 2019 and published it after verifying its authenticity. The media has not disclosed who provided the video in order to protect their sources. There is no evidence to support the claim that that European liberal parties are involved.
