Disinfo: Promising to Make a ‘Good Juicy Chop’ of Opposition Leader is No Physical Threat

Summary

The words of Viktor Zolotov (Director of the National Guard, “Rossgvardiya”) addressed to Alexei Navalny are no physical threat.

Disproof

Zolotov challenged Navalny (by that time imprisoned) to a duel, demanding satisfaction and promising to make a “good juicy chop” of him in a matter of minutes. “Mr. Navalny, I promise you, before I step over you and wipe my feet on you, I will stage a show for the entire Rosgvardiya staff, and I assure you, after that you will be ashamed to go outside. And I know how to keep my word,” Zolotov said.

Largest Opposition Party in Macedonia is Boycotting Name Referendum

Twenty eight political movements and organizations, including the largest opposition party, VMRO-DPMNE, signed a memorandum on cooperation and creating a campaign headquarters for boycotting the referendum.

Disproof

While 30 Macedonia political parties, groups and individuals signed such a memorandum, VMRO-DPMNE did not.

“The official stance of VMRO-DPMNE regarding the referendum is – we have no position. It is not our job to tell the people if and how they should vote,” Mickoski said during a recent rally.

Opponents of Brexit will be forcefully dispersed by Britain’s military and police

Opponents of Brexit will be forcefully dispersed by Britain’s military and police announced Russia’s Strategic Culture Foundation. The anti-Brexit protests may lead to high crime rate, food shortages, lack of medical supplies, rising costs of goods and services and road and port blockages. The British police “already has a plan for suppressing street riots”.

Disproof

The original article in English cites a leaked police document that says civil disorder is possible at Britain’s borders and ports in the event of a no-deal Brexit, the possibility of not signing documents regulating various aspects of British withdrawal from the EU. So it is not about police forces quashing demonstrations by people opposing Brexit.

A real horror is going on in Northern Europe as a result of joining the EU, Sweden and Finland economically collapsed

There has been a complete collapse of industry in Sweden after joining the EU, there was a similar collapse in Finland where GDP fell by 25 per cent after the collapse of the USSR.

Disproof

Although there had been a slight decline in Finland's GDP after 1991, this was followed by a much longer period of stable growth and currently, Finland's GDP is approximately 100-150 per cent higher than it used to be in the beginning of the 1990s: see the historical data here. "Collapsed" Sweden has 22nd-23rd highest GDP in the world (depending on whether the ranking is by IMF, World Bank, or the UN).
