Soviet soldiers saved 50 000 Bulgarian Jews during WWII

Summary

It was thanks to Soviet soldiers that 50 000 Bulgarian Jews were saved from deportation to Nazi Germany during WWII.

Disproof

In fact, public protest, which included an intervention from the Metropolitan of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, made Tsar Boris to change his mind and cancel the planned deportations of 50 000 Bulgarian Jews to Nazi Germany in May 1943. www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005451, , edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2015/07/24/intv-amanpour-bulgaria-king-a.cnn, https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/how-bulgaria-saved-its-jews-from-nazi-concentration-camps/2013/05/08/e866bdda-8cb1-11e2-9838-d62f083ba93f_story.html?utm_term=.e74c061fa348, ,

Finnish officials have taken a child into custody because her mother slapped her with a T-shirt

Finnish officials have taken a child into custody because her mother slapped her with a T-shirt, says Finnish human rights activist Johan Bäckman.

Disproof

Recurring disinformation. The statement comes from well-known Pro-Kremlin propagandist Johan Bäckman.

In Finland, a custody can be done if serious shortcomings are detected in the child’s care or other circumstances that may endanger the child’s health or development. The risk must be serious. Taking into custody is only possible if open care support measures are not suitable, feasible or sufficient to guarantee that the child’s interests are protected.

RT faces repression in the US and it will lose its status as a media

[The US requirement to register RT as a foreign agent] is a repression and violation of freedom of speech. The channel will lose its status as a media.

Disproof

The registration of Russia Today (RT) as a foreign agent is unlikely to either hamper its activities or lead to its closure as it will be able to continue to operate as before, even if now with some additional reporting obligations.

Requiring a foreign media outlet to register as an agent of a foreign nation does not give the U.S. government the right to censor its output or control its working environment. FARA simply requires transparency and public disclosure on the part of those registered. Further debunking at the Insider.

Images prove that the US is helping Daesh

Irrefutable evidence that US are actually covering ISIS combat units to recover their combat capabilities, redeploy, and use them to promote American interests in Middle East.

Disproof

Recurring disinformation. One image claimed to show an ISIS convoy leaving Abu Kamel on November 9th, 2017. What this in fact showed was a cropped screenshot from the mobile phone game AC-130 Gunship Simulator, specifically a screenshot from a promo video for the game. The other images are also not from the dates and locations claimed by the Russian MoD, but from videos filmed in Iraq in 2016. Further debunking by Bellingcat. The MoD deleted the posts from its social media accounts.
