Disinfo: Russian vaccine opponents are trying to eradicate trust in Sputnik V

Summary

Opponents of the Russian coronavirus vaccine are trying to eradicate trust in Sputnik V in the world. The Sputnik V vaccine has already gained international recognition, it is one of the best in the world, which shows the great heroism of Russian science.

Many enemies have tried to erode confidence in Russia, they have put so much effort into it, because the Russian vaccine is one of the best in the world and they are just afraid of it.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative that exploits the coronavirus pandemic claiming that there is a coordinated campaign waged against Sputnik V.

Initial reservations regarding the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine stemmed from the fact that Russia had not completed large trials to test the vaccine’s safety and efficacy before releasing it.

Currently, since March 04 2021, Sputnik V vaccine in undergoing a review at the European Medicines Agency.

See similar disinformation claims that Western attacks on the Russian coronavirus vaccine are a corporate cold war against humanity; that Russian progress in COVID-19 vaccine has become for the West an outrageous challenge, that Sputnik V is a target of the corporate cold war; that the West wants to discredit the Sputnik V; that the WHO and Microsoft sabotaged the Russian vaccine, that the West criticises the Sputnik V because it can’t accept Russia’s primacy and because its pharmaceutical companies will lose billions of dollars.

Disinfo: Armenia is ditching its 2018 colour revolution robe

Armenia is now living in a stage of changing the course of the 2018 colour revolution. Today, after more than two years, there is a strong struggle to change the course because the geopolitical situation is completely far from the colour revolutions.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is the first and last symbol of the “coloured power”, and by changing Pashnyan, many things will change in Armenia.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative painting all manifestations of popular discontent as colour revolutions.

In 2018, Armenia saw peaceful protests of hundreds of thousand people in response to Serzh Sargsyan's third consecutive term, and the country's prime minister and former president for a decade. Sargsyan resigned in response to overwhelming opposition pressure, including deserting soldiers, admitting that he was "wrong" (see his statement here).

Disinfo: Finns choosing Sputnik V for vaccination

Finns explain why they chose Sputnik V for vaccination. [...] Finns (living in Russia) are choosing Sputnik V due to the high efficiency and accessibility of this vaccine. [...]

Disproof

This is a recurrent manipulation aiming to promote the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.

The title of the article is “Finns explain why they chose Sputnik V for vaccination”. Only from the text of the article does it become clear that this concerns only some Finns who are living or working in Russia.

Disinfo: The US and NATO try to demonise Russia and display the usual Russophobia

The US and NATO are considering Russia as a potential enemy in possible military conflict. Therefore the demonisation, defamation and elements of information warfare are still a mainstream part of the practical policy of the Pentagon and North-Atlantic alliance. It is just the usual Russophobia.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narratives about Western Russophobia and alleged anti-Russian projects in the West, accusing the US and NATO of hostility towards Russia.

The US and NATO are concerned about the aggressive actions of Russia against neighbour countries. The US and NATO relations with Russia negatively influenced Russia's military action in Georgia in August 2008 and Russia's military intervention and aggressive actions in Ukraine in 2014 and later. Despite that, the US and NATO hope normalize relations with Russia in future, if Moscow will change its aggressive behaviour.
