DISINFO: Slovak media are not free and there is no freedom...

SUMMARY

Slovak media are not free and there is no freedom of speech in the country. The official News Agency of Slovakia (TASR) suspended the cooperation with Sputnik News as a result of pressures from the Slovak government.

RESPONSE

No evidence given. Actually it was rather the public that criticized cooperation of the TASR with Sputnik. The agreement met with strong opposition from Slovak public and media which put pressure on the leadership of TASR to suspend the agreement on information exchange.bit.ly/2oRkIHa,
