Soros recognised his defeat in the fight with Russia

Summary

Soros recognised his defeat in the fight with Russia.

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation regarding George Soros.

In fact, Soros said in a Financial Times interview: “I think you can say I’m quite lucky with my enemies,” he said brightly of the attacks. “It makes me feel more than ready to fight back and stand up for what is right.”

Further debunking by the Insider.

Boston marathon bombing happened because US doesn’t want to cooperate

The US gave Russia information about a terror attack preparation in St. Petersburg. Russia shares information with the US secret services equally. Does the US need this or not? Once it appeared that they don’t need this, and the Boston marathon bombing happened, and people got killed. So do you need this or not? Are we going to work or not? Do you want it or not?

Disproof

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation about the US reluctance to cooperate in countering terrorism.

The FBI presented in 2013 a different view on what happened before the Boston marathon:

US list of Russian billionaires and top officials is similar to racial segregation, Nazism and Holocaust

Any citizen of Russia may end up in this list [of Russian billionaires and top officials]. These demands were presented to all of us, to the whole nation. Every one of us is bad only because he/she lives in Russia, is Russian. It is something similar to racial segregation. Almost Nazism. There is an analogy from the last century. In Germany they said: a Jew is an enemy of the German nation only because he is a Jew. And they started the Holocaust.

Disproof

The Holocaust was the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators.

Baltic countries don’t oppose Nord Stream 2 anymore

Until recently, the Baltic countries were fiercely against the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline. In the end of last year they suddenly stopped opposing.

Disproof

In December 2017, pro-Kremlin outlets like Sputnik published articles about sudden change in Baltic countries' position regarding the Nord Stream 2.

The disinformation about the change is based on a statement by prime ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. They note only that "the Nord Stream 2 project, if implemented. must be in full compliance with the EU acquis and the Energy Union principles."
