DISINFO: Terrorists plan false flag chemical attacks in Syria

According to sources, terrorists are planning to stage a chemical attack with subsequent victims among the civilian population in order to put the blame on the Syrian government forces.

No evidence given. Recurring pro-Kremlin narrative about chemical attacks as well as recurring disinformation narrative deflecting blame for chemical attacks from the Assad regime. Read here a similar case claiming that the intelligence services of France and Belgium are preparing a false-flag chemical attack in Syria’s Idlib province, in coordination with local terrorist cells and the White Helmets group.

The German NGO GPPi has collected data on 349 confirmed incidents with use of various types of chemical weapons. In almost all the cases, Syrian regime forces can be tied to the attacks.
