Disinfo: Trump administration’s assassination of General Soleimani will trigger civil war in the United States

The Trump administration – which has fallen under the control of globalist élites that are fighting for the survival of unipolarism – assassinated General Soleimani, a symbol of multipolarism, without taking account of the consequences, of the risk of provoking war, of the protests of the US’s counterparts.  By ordering the assassination of General Soleimani Trump has condemned the US to the death penalty.

The American people, by voting for Trump, had voted against the continuation of the Bush/Obama unipolar policies and for the peaceful transition to a multipolar world.  The Trump administration, however,  has now  been hijacked by the aggressive and increasingly irrational  globalist élite.

The American people are therefore forced to turn their backs on the US government, which no longer expresses the will of the people.  Legal methods of political struggle in the US  are no longer possible. The assassination of General Soleimani will trigger the beginning of a real civil war in the United States.

No evidence is provided for the article’s claims. Conspiracy theory.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about an imminent US civil war and/or massive social upheaval and state collapse in the US this time supposedly linked to the killing of Soleimani.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the West’s  increasingly aggressive policies against States, such as Russia and China, that challenge the “unipolar world order” and seek to promote the transition to a multipolar world.

Since the fall of the Soviet Union Kremlin outlets have been spreading the narrative of a new American civil war and of US disintegration. Igor Panarin– a former Soviet KGB and Russian intelligence officer, a political science professor and author of influential studies on information warfare – declared in 1998 that the United States would disintegrate into six nations around 2010.

Cases in the EUvsDisinfo database focus on messages in the international information space that are identified as providing a partial, distorted, or false depiction of reality and spread key pro-Kremlin messages. This does not necessarily imply, however, that a given outlet is linked to the Kremlin or editorially pro-Kremlin, or that it has intentionally sought to disinform. Poland and Baltic states distort the truth about WWII

Warsaw declared the USSR responsible for starting WWII together with Hitler’s Germany, while the Baltic states constantly remind the public that the USSR allegedly occupied their territories instead of liberating them. These statements have no historical basis and are made only out of political ambition.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the WWII and Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. See other disinformation cases of historical revisionism.

On the 23rd of August 1939, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany signed a non-aggression (Molotov-Ribbentrop) pact, whose secret protocols divided the territories belonging to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Romania into Soviet and Nazi spheres of influence.

Neo-Nazism flourishes in the European Union

Neo-Nazism flourishes in the EU. Every year, the EU abstains in the UN General Assembly when Russia submits a resolution on the inadmissibility of the glorification of Nazism and the revival of all forms of hateful ideology. The Americans and Ukrainians vote against it too, which is also not surprising. The Americans simply do not want to limit themselves to anything, and the Ukrainians, probably, are unable to resist the Neo-Nazi radicals.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Nazis in the EU, which has been repeatedly debunked (see here). Also see earlier disinformation cases alleging that the US and EU countries are Russophobic, fascist and Nazi regimes and that the EU continues the aggressive policies of Nazi Germany.

On 18 December 2019, the UN General Assembly adopted a draft resolution on “Combating glorification of Nazism, neo‑Nazism and other practices that contribute to fueling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance” (document A/C.3/74/L.62) by a recorded vote of 133 in favour to 2 against (Ukraine, United States), with 52 abstentions.

Canadian mercenaries appeared in the Donbas

Despite the existing agreements on the peaceful settlement of the conflict, the Ukrainians continue to attract foreign mercenaries into the OOS (Operation of Combined Forces) zone. So, according to our data, on 10 January, fifteen citizens of Canada, representatives of one of the Private Military Companies, arrived in the village of Stanitsa Luhanskaya.

No evidence is given to support this claim. The existence of paramilitary fighters or mercenaries from NATO or US-friendly countries is a recurrent narrative in Russian disinformation since at least 2014, and it prompted a diplomatic protest from Poland back then.

The allegation has been repeatedly debunked in those years but repeatedly resurfaces to try to discredit the Ukrainian army and the countries that support Kyiv's efforts for stabilisation.
