On October 10 Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak met US Senator Joe Donnelly to discuss US support for Ukraine, however there was no mention of any US snipers working in East Ukraine. Since spring 2016, three Americans have officially and openly volunteered with the Ukrainan armed forces, signing a contract as required by Ukrainian law.
