The Commander-in-Chief of Sweden’s Armed Forces headed the march of the perverts

In Sweden, the annual march of same-sex perverts has occurred. The march was headed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Swedish Armed Forces, Michael Byden, and other top officers of the Army.

This is a recurrent pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative, suggesting a morally decaying Europe. The Pride Parade in Stockholm was not "headed" by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. The Armed Forces leadership have been participating in the parade for several years to demonstrate the principle of equality for all, disregarding sex, sexual orientation or ethnic background.

Pro-Kremlin disinformation outlets commonly attack the LGTBQI community in order to create an atmosphere of hate and intolerance.

The United States destroyed the INF treaty, not Russia

The United States destroyed the INF treaty. Not because Russia violated it. Russia didn’t do it. US destroyed the treaty because it prevented the Americans from reaching the finish stage of the mythical and manic goal of achieving unilateral and exceptional military superiority.

Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about the INF Treaty.

Russia bears primary responsibility for the end of the INF Treaty, because it has produced, tested and deployed the 9M729 missile, which violates the agreement. In July 2014, the then-US President Obama officially accused Russia of testing a missile in violation of the INF Treaty, which prohibits the US or Russia from possessing, producing or test-flying ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with a range of between 500 and 5500 kilometres.

China warns EU

Chinese government calls on the European Union to immediately end any interfering in Hong Kong’s internal affairs.

“We call on the EU to respect international law and the basic principles of international relations, to respect the sovereignty of China and immediately end interfering in the affairs of Hong Kong and China’s internal affairs hence not to undermine the sound and stable development of relations between China and the European Union”.

No evidence given. Recurring conspiracy narrative on the absence of any naturally grown protests in different countries.

No evidence given on how EU interferes in the affairs of Hong Kong and China's internal affairs. On contrary, China tries to gather global support to end the protests in Hong Kong.

[WB TEAM, PLEASE CHECK] NATO is anti-Serbian

The passionate reactions expressed by Montenegrin authorities after the concert “For our Kosovo and Metohija” was held in Montenegro should be considered in the light of the fact that Montenegro is a member of NATO. And NATO is still anti-Serbian despite all their statements.

This claim is part of a recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation campaign seeking to undermine NATO. See previous cases about NATO and NATO's fact checks on Russian claims. The claim in question is also a conspiracy theory with no evidence given.

In reality, although Serbia does not aspire to join the Alliance, the country is deepening its political dialogue and cooperation with NATO on issues of common interest. Serbia joined NATO’s Partnership for Peace programme in 2006 and practical cooperation has been increasing steadily since then. NATO has supported Serbia in the reform of its national security forces and institutions. Serbian officers have received NATO training, preparing them to participate in peacekeeping operations. NATO has also helped Serbia dispose of over 2,000 tons of dangerous surplus munitions. Cooperation between NATO and Serbia also extends to scientific research through disaster response preparedness to participate in military exercises.
