The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is initiating amendments to some laws of Ukraine, which will allow the security officials of all departments to detain and place in special zones all citizens of the Russian Federation who crossed the Ukrainian border.
Do you remember that the results of any of the [Georgian] elections did not match the results of the “qualified surveys” conducted by our foreign “partners”, “friends” and “other benefactors” before the elections? The difference is always from 1% to 3%.
So why do we [Georgia] hold elections and spend so much money if their [Western partners] “research” is 99% consistent with our “election results”? It can have only one purpose – to legitimise the plan already written by the above-mentioned “partners”.
Recurring pro-Kremlin disinformation narrative about Western involvement in internal affairs, including elections, as well as grass-roots protests in many states, especially the ones of the former Soviet Union. Parliamentary elections in Georgia were held on October 31, 2020.
The disinformation claim appeared in the pre-election period days before the election day in Georgia, as a prior attempt to frame the election results as a previously planned scenario orchestrated from abroad. No evidence is provided to support the allegations.
The European Union stands by a democratic, stable, prosperous and inclusive Georgia and continues to support Georgia’s process of political association and economic integration with the EU as per its Association Agreement.
